Base Class: Warlock

Dragons are ancient and mystical beings, some older than civilization itself. They are keepers of great power, wealth, and knowledge, and sometimes grant power and boons to adventurers and servants who they deem worthy of their blessing. Individuals who are granted these powers refer it as a “wyrmpact”, a mystical bond between the dragon and the warlock, in a very similar form that a patron would grant power to one.

Expanded Spell List

A Wyrmpact lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Draconic Knowledge

The pact with your draconic patron has given you knowledge and insight about the past. Starting at 1st level, you gain proficiency in the History and Arcana skills, and whenever you roll these skills to find information related to dragons, you roll with advantage.



Supernatural Fear

Starting at 1st level, you are able to harness the supernatural fear that dragons exude and use it to distraught your enemies. As an action, you can unleash that fear into the hearts of your foes; you choose a number of creatures up to your charisma modifier (minimum of 1) within 30ft of you to each make a wisdom saving throw against your warlock spell save DC. On a failed save the creature is frightened by you for 1 minute, and takes psychic damage equal to your charisma modifier plus half your warlock level (rounded up) at the start of each of their turns. They can repeat this saving throw at the end of their turns, ending both effects on a successful save. A creature who successfully saves is immune to this ability for the next 24 hours.

Once you use this feature, you must finish a short or long rest before you can use it again.

Elemental Weave

Your dragon patron has granted you increased attunement to the element they embody, allowing you to resist its effects and empower your spells. Beginning at 6th level, you gain resistance to the element associated with your dragonic patron (listing can be found on the draconic sorcerer page), and can add your charisma modifier to damage rolls from spells of that type.

Wyrmblooded

Starting at 10th level, your patron has granted you a boon that adapts your body to be more similar to a dragon’s. You gain either a swim speed or climb speed equal to your walking speed. Additionally, the greed of your patron for magical treasure and artifacts has adapted your body as well, allowing you to attune to one additional magic item.

Dragon Essence

Your mind and body have completely adapted to the ancient magic of your patron, granting you abilities similar to an actual dragon. Beginning at 14th level, after using your Supernatural Fear ability, at the start of each of your subsequent turns afterwards, roll a d6. On a roll of 5 or 6, the ability recharges, and you can use it again. Additionally, once per day, when you fail a saving throw, you can choose to automatically succeed instead.
