Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

When a Luxon crashed to the Shadowfell, it could not reincarnate the souls trapped within because there were no living creatures born there to take on the spirits. Over centuries, the entities held within became a unified voice that seeks more power. It has found you as its chosen, and in accepting its pact you gain sway over the Dunamis as well as eldritch power.

Expanded Spell List

In addition to Warlock spells, you gain access to Dunamancy spells and a few wizard spells.

Proficiencies

You get proficiency with medium armor, martial weapons, and an additional skill proficiency in one of the following: Religion, Arcana, Persuasion, Deception, or Perception.

Fortuitous Jinx

Starting at 1st level, you gain the ability to place an unlucky curse on someone. As a bonus action, choose 1 creature you can see within 30 feet of you. The target is cursed for 1 minute. The curse ends early if the target dies, you die, or you are incapacitated. Until the curse ends, the following occurs:

-The target has a penalty to damage rolls made against you, equal to your proficiency bonus.
-You can re-roll any natural 1 against this creature.
-If the cursed target dies, you regain hit points equal to your warlock level + your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1 hit point).

You can't use this feature again until you finish a short or long rest.

Font of Fortune

Starting at level 6, you may re-roll any d20 on an ability check and take the higher of the two. Alternatively, as a reaction you may choose any creature and have them re-roll any d20 on an ability check for advantage or disadvantage.

You can't use this feature again until you finish a long rest.

Soul Domination

Starting at 10th level, you may bind the soul of a creature you slay to the service of the Nexion. You can cause its spirit to rise from the corpse as a spectre, and when it appears it gains temporary hit points equal to half your warlock level. Roll initiative for the spectre, which has its own turn. It obeys your verbal command, and gains a special bonus to its attack rolls equal to your charisma modifier. It remains in your service until the end of your next long rest, at which point the Nexion absorbs it.

Once you bind a spectre with this feature, you cannot use this feature again until you finish a long rest.

Crushing Madness

At 14th level, you may select one target within 30 feet of you as an action. The target needs to make a wisdom saving throw, and if they fail their mind is filled with a cacophony of the nightmarish screams and wails of millions of trapped souls. The effect causes 8d12 psychic damage, and the target is stunned for one round.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
