Base Class: Druid

Circle of the bulette is based around turning into one large monster rather than many smaller ones. Unlike regular wild shape you are stuck as what you swap to and go unconscious when it's HP reaches 0. 

Bullete Forms

This ability overrides what you can transform into from the basic druid ability, Wild Shape. The rites of your circle grant you the ability to transform into many dangerous forms of the beast , the bulette. Starting at 2nd level, you can use your bulette Shape to transform into a bulette from the plains. This ability lasts 8 hours and you have to stay in it for the entire duration, including for things such as death saving throws.. You can use this feature twice. You regain expended uses when you finish a short or long rest.

Standing Leap: The bulette's long jump is up to 15 ft. and its high jump is up to 7 ft., with or without a running start.

Actions

Bite: Melee Weapon Attack: 4 + player Str or Dex modifier to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 2d6 + 4 + player Str or Dex modifier piercing damage.

Gaping Maw: Melee Weapon Attack: 2 + player Str or Dex modifier to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1d12 piercing damage. A target hit by this attack is grappled (DC 10 + 1 for every 5 druid levels + your spell casting modifier). While grappling you move at half speed and cannot use your mouth. On your turn you can squeeze as a bonus action dealing 2d6 bludgeoning damage. (if a creature is larger than the bulette it cannot be grappled).

 

Quick Bulette Change

When you choose this circle at 2nd level, you gain the ability to use Wild Shape on your turn as a bonus action, rather than as an action.

 

Bulette varients

The rites of your circle have evolved your basic bulette form. starting at 6th level you can transform many new bulette types as your power grows, you gain a form every level from 6-9. All bulettes ignore rough terrain and hazards of the biome they are from. 

Cave Varient

Allows you to transform into a Cave variant of  bulette, it specializes in ranged damage, its stats are as follows.
Cave Bulette

  • HP: 9d10 + 1d10 per druid level + 10 times your constitution modifier 
  • Speed: 20 ft. - Burrow 20 ft. (In things softer than or equal to rock)

Molten Rock Throw: Ranged Weapon Attack:  5 + player Str or Dex modifier to hit, reach 30-10 ft.,  5 ft. AOE. Targets make a (DC 9 + 1 for every 5 druid levels + your spell casting modifier) Dex save throw, taking half damage on a pass, it deals 2d6 per 5 levels fire damage. On a direct hit deal an additional 3 + player Str or Dex modifier bludgeoning damage.

Bite: Melee Weapon Attack: player Str or Dex modifier to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1d6 + player Str or Dex modifier piercing damage.

Desert Varient

Allows you to transform into a Desert variant of  bulette, it specializes in melee damage, its stats are as follows

  • Speed: 35 ft. - Borrow 15 ft (Nothing harder than dirt)

Hardened Senses: You have resistance to sensory impairing attacks

Actions

Bite: Melee Weapon Attack: 6 + player Str or Dex modifier to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit:  2d8 + 6 + player Str or Dex modifier piercing damage.

Deadly Leap: Can consume all movement and this turns reaction to leap 15 ft. and tackle a creature. The creatures must succeed on a (DC 10 + 1 for every 5 druid levels + your spell casting modifier) Strength or Dexterity saving throw (target's choice) or be knocked prone and take 3d6 + 2 + player Str or Dex modifier bludgeoning damage, plus equal slashing damage. On a successful save, the creature takes only half the damage, isn't knocked prone, and is pushed 5 ft. out of the bulette's space into an unoccupied space of the creature's choice (if a creature is larger than the bulette it automatically passes the save).

 

 

Mountain Varient

Allows you to transform into a Cave variant of  bulette, it specializes in ranged damage, its stats are as follows.

  • HP: 11d12 + 1d12 per druid level + 10 times your constitution modifier 
  • Speed: 25 ft - Burrow 5 ft. (In most anything)

Rocky Spikes:  If an attack misses by 5 or more and they came in contact with you they take 9 (2d6 + 2) piercing damage

Actions

Bite: Melee Weapon Attack: 2 + player Str or Dex modifier to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1d8 + 2 + player Str or Dex modifier piercing damage.

Curl Up: You can curl into a ball as an action. Until you emerge, you gain a +4 bonus to AC, and you have advantage on Strength and Constitution saving throws. While curled, you are prone, your speed is 0 and can't increase, you have disadvantage on Dexterity saving throws, you can't take reactions, and the only action you can take is a bonus action to emerge from your shell.

Tundra Variant

Hooked Claws: While dashing ignore all forms of rough terrain.

Actions

Claw: Melee Weapon Attack: 2 + player Str or Dex modifier to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1d6 + 2 + player Str or Dex modifier piercing damage. Can also be done as bonus action.

Icey Dodge: Can use a bonus action to ignore one reaction.

Plains Bulette+

Starting at 6th level you gain a new ability for you plains bulette. 

Sturdy Footing: Resist movement impairing abilities and abilities that cause you to move

 
 

Bulette Strike

Starting at 6th level, your attacks in beast form count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.

Growing Bulette Power

Starting at 10th level you gain new abilities for your bulette forms.

Cave Bulette ability

you unlock the Cave Bulette ability to 

Consume: Melee weapon attack: 1 + player Str or Dex modifier to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: target is swallowed and takes 2d6 fire damage at the start of their turn. Your stomach has an AC of 17, if an enemy can deal 10 times your constitution modifier damage to your stomach they are beelched up using your next turn’s bonus action (you can only consume a small or smaller creature). Consume can also be used to consume minerals, buffing beelch, you can consume twice in one action if currently burrowed.

Beelch: You can use a bonus action to deal fire damage in a 10 ft. cone based on how much has been consumed. Targets in the area make a (DC 13 + 1 for every 5 druid levels + your spell casting modifier) Dex save, or take 2d6 for every time something has been consumed (up to a max of d6s equal to druid level), or half on a successful save.

Desert bulette ability

unlocks the Desert bulette ability  to

Kick Up Dust: As a bonus action when standing on dirt, sand, or other loose ground, you can kick it at the opponent and they have to make a (DC 11 + 1 for every 5 druid levels + your spell casting modifier) Con save or be blinded until the end of their next turn.

Mountain Bulette Ability

Unlocks the Mountain Bulette Ability to

Raging Charge: To do this attack you have to have at least 20 ft. run up. It is a melee attack that has 3 + player Str or Dex modifier to hit and deals 1dx + 1dx for every 20 damage you have taken, x equals your Con score divided by 2 rounded to the nearest even number (round up). it deals bludgeoning damage.

Plains Bulette Ability

Unlocks the Plains Bulette Ability to

Sink Trap: This is only available if you have dug under them. They have to make a Dex save (DC 9 + 1 for every 5 druid levels + your spell casting modifier) or fall into a pit and get restrained until they make a Str check DC equal to the dex check. If they fail the Dex save you get a free bite attack on them.

Tundra Bulette Ability

Unlocks the Tundra Bulette Ability to 

Glacial Dash: You can use a bonus action to add 25 ft. move speed.

Advanced Bulette Control

You have gotten a lot of practice in your new forms and are getting closer to mastery with them. starting at 14th you gain the power to leave your bulette form after 4 hours, but you can still stay in for the full 8 hours if you choose to

Ultimate Bulette form

At 18th level you have mastered the powers of one of you bulette forms and can gain its ultimate ability. This subclass feature replaces the base druid feature "beast spells" and all effects of that feature.

Ultimate Cave Bulette Ability

You gain the power to use this ability when transformed into the cave Bulette

Magma Pool: Once per long rest while underground, you can expel the content of your stomach to create a 10 ft. deep and 10 ft. diameter pool of lava, which you are immune to. If done under the enemy they have to make a dex save (DC 18) to not fall in. The lave deals 10d10 damage for one turn and then 2d10 for two more rounds and if a creature is in it on the final turn they are cemented in and have to make a DC 20 strength check to escape.

Ultimate Desert Bulette Ability

You gain the power to use this ability when transformed into the sand Bulette

Savagery: Once per long rest you can make 8 attacks in one turn.

Ultimate Mountain Bulette Ability

You gain the power to use this ability when transformed into the mountain Bulette

Tremor: twice per long rest you can use your immense power to cause a localized earthquake. Everyone within 15 ft., who is in contact with the ground, has to make a strength saving throw DC 18 or be knocked prone and be dealt 4d12 bludgeoning damage, on a pass they take half damage and are not knocked prone.

Ultimate Plains Bulette Ability

You gain the power to use this ability when transformed into the plains Bulette

Tunnel: Counts as a dash action for burrowing, in addition while using this ability you can choose to make the tunnel wide enough for party members.

Ultimate Tundra Bulette Ability

You gain the powerto use this ability when transformed into the tundra Bulette

Scaly Caltrops: Five times per long rest you can turn your skin turns into hard scales after which you shed them quickly creating a 10 ft. area of rough terrain that lasts 1 minute, anyone who attempts to walk through the rough terrain takes 2d10 + 2 damage every 5 feet. You can dash action in the same action you use this skill for free. You are immune to all effects of this skill.

Arch-Bulette

This sub-class feature replaces all aspects of the class feature "archdruid". Starting at 20th level you can leave your bulette form after only 2 hours

in addition you get another ultimate bulette form.
