Base Class: Monk
Monks of the Way of the Fate Touched are chosen by the Raven Queen. Most work alone, given missions by the Matron of Death through dreams, visons, and the occasional errant raven. They take and give life in equal measure, always fighting to make sure the natural order of the world is followed. Some find work as bounty hunters, searching for those who have escaped justice. Others spend their lives in a specific temple, aiding other followers of their Queen and leaving only when their path demands they go elsewhere. The vast majority, however, work alone. They wander Terrania and beyond to destroy undead creatures, aid lost souls, and unravel their own mysterious fate.
Life for Life
Starting at third level, your study of life and death in connection with your Ki allows you to redirect the flow of life. Starting at third level, you can touch a creature and expend an amount of your hit points equal to your monk level x two. In addition, you may touch an unwilling creature and force them to make a Wisdom saving throw. If they fail, you may take a number of their hit points equal to your monk level x two and heal yourself for the same amount.
Destined Demise
In studying the ways of Fate, you have been granted the ability to look at your enemies and gain insight into their future moves. Once per turn, you may expend a ki point (no action required) to gain advantage on your next attack. You may also learn how many hit points the enemy has left.
Blight to the Undead
Undeath is an abomination that must be destroyed. That is one of the commandments of the Raven Queen. Starting at 11th level, you score a critical hit on a role of 19 or 20 against undead creatures. You may also expend a ki point in order to detect any undead creatures within a mile of you.
Master of Fate
At this point in your training, you have become an expert in the way of life, death, and the natural order of the world. You have learned much from your travels and the wisdom of the Matron, enough that you are able to channel some of her powers directly. As an action, you may expend ten ki points to sprout the black wings of a raven. You gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed. When the wings emerge, each ally of yours that can see you gains a number of temporary hit points equal to your Wisdom modifier as well as advantage on Wisdom saving throws. In addition, each hostile creature must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a fail, they take 4d10 cold damage and are knocked prone. On a success, they take half as much damage and are able to stay upright.
Winter's Touch
The Raven Queen, in addition to being the patron of death and fate, is the goddess of winter. Starting at third level, you may expend a ki point to deal an additional 1d6 cold damage on a creature you have hit. This increases to a d8 at level 6, a d10 at level 11, and a d12 at level 17.
