Base Class: Bard

Bards from the College of Amplification shine when the people around them do. Amplifiers are traditionally taught the virtue of selflessness, generosity, and benevolence. They are the voice of the silenced, ignored, and neglected. A song of hope for those who have given up.

But there is a shadow for every beacon, and the bards of the College of Amplification are no exception. Some have lose their way and relish on fueling the flames of chaos and destruction. They use their aptitude to augment the powers of those who want to cause pain, magnifies turmoil, and escalates pandemonium.

However their talents are used, the College of Amplification bards are sure to turn the tides for good, or for evil.

Gifted Guidance

You have a selfless gift for guiding others to greatness. You learn the guidance cantrip, which doesn’t count against the number of bard cantrips you know. Although you can't cast it on yourself, it has a range of 30 feet when you cast it on others, and you can do so as a bonus action.

Benevolent Boost

Also at 3rd level, you learn to benevolently boost your allies' attack. Using your reaction, you can roll a Bardic Inspiration die and add the number rolled to both the attack roll and damage roll of an ally you can see within 30 feet of you.

Augment Aid

You have improved the art of amplifying the power of your allies. Starting at 6th level, whenever you use the Benevolent Boost feature, you additionally augment the strength of that ally by choosing one of these three effects:

Heighten Harm. Your ally can add your spellcasting ability modifier to their weapon or spell damage once each turn.
Demand Danger.
Your ally's weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20.
Reduce Resistance.
Your ally's spell save DC increases by 2 points.

These effects last for a minute, or until you use the Benevolent Boost feature again on another ally.

Faultless Fount

You have perfected the art of amplifying and have become a fountain of power for yourself and your allies. At the 14th level, whenever you use the Augment Aid feature, you further intensify its effects as listed below.

Heighten Harm. Your ally can add a 1d8 + your spellcasting ability modifier to their weapon or spell damage once each turn.
Demand Danger.
Your ally's weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 18 or 20.
Reduce Resistance.
Your ally's spell save DC increases by 4 points.

Moreover, you can spend another Bardic Inspiration to also gain the effect you have chosen for yourself.

And as an action, you can change the effect you have chosen, or transfer the effect from one ally to another,  by spending a Bardic Inspiration.

This feature lasts for a minute.
