Base Class: Monk

Bro it's a lightning monk idk, less scuffed then the one I accidently put up first but still pretty scuffed, just want feedback. 

Lightning Infusion

 Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, Choose one of the following types of lightning:

Black Lightning

Your lightning courses with the energy of the Shadowfell causing any flesh it passes through to the decay. You may change any Lightning damage you deal into Necrotic damage.


Red Lightning

Intense heat emanates from your lightning cause it to set everything from wood to blood ablaze. You may change any Lightning damage you deal into Fire damage.

White Lightning

Your lightning is so shockingly cold it freezes everything it touch's. You may change any Lightning damage you deal into Cold damage

Yellow Lightning

Your lightning causes tiny explosions at every point of impact. You may change any Lightning damage you deal into Thunder damage.

Lightning Fist

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, You may choose to have your unarmed strikes deal lightning damage, Your unarmed strikes deal additional lightning damage equal to your proficiency bonus.

Flash Step

At 6th level, anytime you would use movement, instead of walking you may choose to teleport the distance in a flash of lighting instantly appearing at the location. This teleport does not provoke attacks of opportunity.

One with Lightning

At 11th level, Gain and ignore resistances based on your lightning type

Black Lightning

You gain resistance to Lightning and Necrotic damage, You ignore resistances to Lightning and Necrotic damage

Red Lightning

You gain resistance to Lightning and Fire damage, You ignore resistances to Lightning and Fire damage

White Lightning

You gain resistance to Lightning and Cold damage, You ignore resistances to Lightning and Cold damage

Yellow Lightning

You gain resistance to Lightning and Thunder damage, You ignore resistances to Lightning and Thunder damage

Lightning Charged

Starting at 11th level you can spend Ki points to cast the following without requiring components.

You can spend 4 Ki points to cast Lightning bolt as an action.

You can spend 6 Ki points to cast Haste on yourself as an action without it requiring concentration.

You can spend 8 Ki points to cast Chain Lightning as an action.

Lightning Mastery

At 17th level gain the following features based on your lightning type:

Black Lightning

Grave Lightning: As an action you may send bolts of lightning through the ground to all creatures within a 10ft radius. All creatures must make a Constitution saving throw or take 1d10 Lightning damage, they receive half damage on a successful save. You may use this action a number of times equal to your wisdom modifier per day, restored on a long rest.             Drain Lightning: You heal for half of all Lightning and Necrotic damage you deal.

Red Lightning

Lightning Inferno: At will you may cause your body to start emanating heat as lightning starts arcing off you, striking the ground around you in a 10ft radius. At the start of your turn you may choose a number of creatures equal to your wisdom modifier. The creatures must make a Dexterity saving throw or take 1d10 Lightning damage. They take half damage on a successful save.

White Lightning

Frost Shock: Your lightning is so cold it can turn blood to ice and stop gears in their tracks, any creature you deal Lightning or Cold damage to must make a Constitution saving throw or be stunned for one turn.

Yellow Lightning

Explosive Lightning: When you deal Lightning or Thunder damage to a creature it must make a Dexterity saving throw, on a failed save your lightning causes an explosion and you may move the creature up to 10ft in the direction of your choice and the creature takes an additional 1d10 lightning damage
