Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

In order to take this oath, a character must have a natural breath weapon.

By swearing to serve (insert dragon god of choice, but be warned bahamut was the lore source) you enhance your own draconic powers, and become more like a dragon through their divine power, augmenting your breath and giving you control of the winds around you.

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.

Platinum Breath. As an action, you can unleash divine dragon breath, using your Channel Divinity. This breath attack is identical to your usual breath attack, except for these factors Replace any d6s that you usually roll with d8s, add 5 to the save DC, and you may choose if the saving throw is constitution or dexterity. Additionally, the attack does not have to be of your breath type - it may use the fire, lightning, acid, or cold damage types (but only 1 at a time).

Calm Dragon. As an action, you may target 1 creature within 60ft. It must make a wisdom saving throw with a DC equal to your paladin spellcasting DC. On a failed save, it is no longer hostile to you or your allies. On a successful save, it is no longer hostile to you. If it exceeds the DC by more than 5, this has no effect. This has no effect on creatures with no draconic ancestry or draconic nature. (It will work on draconic sorcerers, dragons, and dragon creatures like kobolds or dragonborn)

Improved Breath Weapon

Your breath weapon is more powerful at higher levels. At certain levels in this class, you gain a range or damage improvement. In addition to this, you may use your breath attack a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier, and recover these uses on a short or long rest.

Breath attack - range
At 5th level, line breath attacks become 5x50ft area, and cone breath attacks become 20ft area.
At 12th level, lines become 10x35ft, or 5x75ft - cones become 25ft.
At 19th level, lines become 5x105ft, 10x50ft, or 15x35ft and cones become 30ft
Breath attack - damage
1st - 2d6
4th - 3d6
7th - 4d6 or 3d8
10th - 5d6 or 3d8+3
13th - 6d6, 4d8+2 or 3d10+3

Oath Spells

You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed.

Oath of the Dragon Spells

Whirlwind Aura

Ranged attacks that travel within 10 feet of you are thrown with disadvantage. Enemies within 10 feet of you consume double movement speed, and triple flying speed. This does not apply while you are unconscious.

At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.

Scaleskin

Beginning at 15th level, whenever you take damage from a physical or external source, you may roll 1 of your hit dice, and reduce the damage by the amount rolled. For example, you can use this against a weapon attack or fireball spell, but not against a psychic attack.

Platinum Ascension

At 20th level, as an action, you can channel divine energy to turn platinum. For 1 minute, your scales (if you have any) turn to platinum, and platinum wings sprout from your back.

In this form, you may use your Channel Divinity: Platinum Breath feature once per round, as either an action or a bonus action. This does not consume uses of that feature. You also have 60 feet of flying speed, unless you already had a higher flying speed.

Additionally, no dragon's will actively try to harm you in this form.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
