Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

The poisoner subclass allows the rogue to delve into creating, utilizing, and enhancing all manners of poisons to deliver fatal blows or chip away at an enemy's health with poison over battle up close. I honestly feel like Tasha's cauldron's feat of Poisoner while it may have been a good effort was definitely not enough to bring poisons into the limelight even though they're so varied and can and should be much more present in games. If you ever want to try it out, please let me know, or give me your first impressions if you feel it's lacking or too strong. Thank you!

Bonus Proficencies

At third level, you gain expertise with the poisoner's kit as well as gaining proficiency in nature if you don't already have it.

In addition, the saving throws against your poison becomes, 8 + proficiency bonus + Intelligence modifier.

Assimilated poisons

At third level, you gain resistance to poisons, and at 9th level, you gain immunity to poison.

In addition, you have become familiar with poisons that by using a poisoner's kit you can create poisons by only using a 10th of the amount of gold required.

You can use all poisons with a bonus action

Poison's by Level

As you level up, the types of poisons that you can use also go up. (Think of these as bonus spells that are unlocked once you reach a specific level.)

3rd level       Assassin's blood, Crawler mucus, Drow poison, serpent venom, truth serum

9th level       Essence of Ether, Malice, Pale Tincture,

Potent Poisons

At 9th level, you have made your poisons so powerful that normal means of defending against them are useless. You now ignore resistance to poisons and immunity to poisons becomes resistance to poisons instead.

At 11th level, you ignore immunity to poisons.

Long lasting Poison

At 13th level, poisons applied to weapons now last a minute.

Final Drop

At 17th level, once per encounter, if a creature is poisoned already, the next attack you do on that creature is a critical hit.
