Base Class: Barbarian
The Path of the Fist is a way of barbarianism that channels the energy of ancient spirits to imbue their bodies with primal energy to defeat their enemies. These barbarians are deadlier unarmed than most people are fully armed. As a barbarian of the Fist enters a rage, their body is imbued with ancient energy giving them enough strength to overcome any foe in combat.
Empowered Fist
When you chose this path at 3rd level, your body is imbued with ancient energy, allowing you to roll a d6 for damage on an unarmed strike. In addition, whenever you make an unarmed strike as an action while raged, you may make two more unarmed strike attacks as a bonus action.
This damage increases to 1d8 at level 11 and 1d10 at level 17.
Strength of the Ancients
Starting at 6th level, when raged, your unarmed strikes count as magical for the purposes of overcoming resistances and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.
Shield of the Ancients
At 10th level, your body is imbued with so much power that simply attacking you could be a fatal decision. When you take damage from any one attack, you can spend a reaction to gain resistance to that type of damage until the end of your next turn. In addition, you may channel the energy from the triggering attack to deal the resisted damage on your next melee weapon attack.
You may use this feature a number of times equal to one third of your barbarian level rounded down. All uses reset on a long rest.
Hardened by the Wilds
At 3rd level, while raging, you gain resistance to all damage except psychic damage.
Rage of the Ancients
At 14th level, your body is imbued with ancient power that makes you lethal in combat. Your carrying capacity is doubled and you gain advantage on Strength checks made to push, pull, lift, or break objects. While raging, any creature within 5 feet of you that is hostile has disadvantage on attack rolls against targets other than you or another character with this feature. An enemy is immune to this effect if it can't see or hear you or if it can't be frightened.
