The Marriage Bed

Starting at 1st level, whenever you sleep, you commune with The Wife in your dreams. You are brought to a realm that is under her control, and it can take the form of visions, but usually consists of an open conversation inside the dreamscape realm. These meetings can last for up to the full duration of the sleep, but they aren't required to do so. You and the DM can work together to decide which of these interactions need to be played out.

The DM plays The Wife and controls the dreams. Nights can consist of a lot of conversation or activities in the realm that is customizable to her wishes. Sometimes perhaps she has you solve riddles or puzzles to exercise your brain. Other times maybe she wants to discuss future plans with you. Perhaps a messenger demon shows up briefly on occasion. It is just a realm within which you get to hang out with a terrifically powerful (and loving) demonic creature--anything can happen!

She can manifest her body in many different forms inside the dream, as a humanoid woman some of the time, a hulking horrifying demonic monstrosity other times, and otherwise just whatever else she feels like manifesting as. You still get the mechanical benefits of a long rest after a long sleep, but how you feel upon waking up depends on how you feel about the interaction.

Wife's Fury

Also starting from 1st level, every time a combat encounter reaches the fourth round of combat, this activates at the start of that round. From the 10th level onward, you may choose to activate this earlier in combat as a bonus action, but an activation done this way may only be used once per long rest. The automatic activations will always occur at the fourth round of combat regardless of other activations.

For the next minute following activation, your body twists into a more demonic form and you lose access to your items or weapons, as well as the ability to speak or think completely rationally. You may still move and cast cantrips and spells on your turns, and for every damaging spell you inflict in this state (once per cast), roll an additional 1d10 and add it to the damage total for that spell. In addition, roll a d6 each time you deal bonus damage from this effect, and all of the damage from that instance of damage including the bonus 1d10 as well as the regular damage total is converted into a different damage type depending on the following table:

D6 Roll Damage Type

1

Fire

2

Cold

3

Poison

4

Acid

5

Psychic

6

Necrotic

The Kids

Starting at 6th level, once per long rest you may use your action to summon a Death Dog for aid. After the 10th level, this will summon two Death Dogs instead, and after the 15th level it becomes three Death Dogs.

You don't have complete control over their every move, but they will side with you in any fights and take their own actions (as the DM) in combat to assist you. They don't respond to commands, but are more likely to follow guidance of a gentler tone.

Fuel for the Fire

Starting at 10th level, once per short or long rest you can use your action to launch a green hellflame at a target creature within a 45ft range. Target takes 1d8 fire damage.

At the end of every full round of combat and also at the start of each of your turns, the hellflame bounces to the closest enemy within a 45ft range and deals the same damage as the previous hit plus an additional 1d8 fire damage (first target takes 1d8, second takes 2d8, sixth takes 6d8, and so on). It cannot bounce to a target that it has already burned, and if any of the checks occur where there are no viable targets in range, the flame fizzles and the effect ends.

Dinner Date

Starting at 14th level, as a bonus action on your turn you can bring all creatures (ally and enemy both) within a radius of up to 60ft surrounding you into a hellish dreamscape. It is a world created by The Wife which can be a barren empty wasteland, a dense dark forest with low visibility/mobility, or a wide cavern with lava traps covering the ground which activate on any movement dealing 1d6 fire damage per 5ft moved, applying to allies and enemies alike. Other dreamscapes are possible within the DM's discretion. The effect ends after 10 minutes or when you choose to end it.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
