Base Class: Rogue
You focus your training on the grim art of death. Those who adhere to this archetype are diverse: hired killers, spies, bounty hunters, and even specially anointed priests trained to exterminate the enemies of their deity. Stealth, poison, and disguise help you eliminate your foes with deadly efficiency.
Tools of the Trade
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with the disguise kit and the poisoner’s kit. Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make that uses either of these proficiencies. Due to your experience in handling poisons, you have resistance to poison damage.
Premeditation
Starting at 3rd level, you learn to move into position better and strike your target before it realizes what's coming. Add your Intelligence modifier to Dexterity (Stealth) checks and initiative rolls.
Assassinate
At 3rd level, you are at your deadliest when you get the drop on your enemies. You have advantage on attack rolls against any creature that hasn’t taken a turn in the combat yet. In addition, any hit you score against a creature that is surprised is a critical hit.
Cloak and Dagger
Starting at 9th level, you are a master of infiltration and betrayal. Add your Intelligence modifier to Charisma (Deception) and Charisma (Persuasion) checks. As an action, you can unfailingly conceal a light weapon. If it is concealed on your person or you are within 5 feet of its location, you can use a bonus action to draw or trigger the weapon and attack a creature. You have advantage on your first attack with the weapon in the combat. You can conceal one such weapon on your person at a time.
Impostor
At 13th level, you can create false identities for yourself with ease. If you are proficient with the forgery kit, your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make that uses it. You also gain the ability to mimic another person’s speech, writing, and behavior. You must spend at least three hours listening to the speech, examining the handwriting, and observing the mannerisms of the person. Your ruse is indiscernible to the casual observer. If a wary creature suspects something is amiss, it has disadvantage on any ability check it makes to detect you.
Death Strike
Starting at 17th level, you become a master of instant death. When you hit a creature that is surprised, double the damage of your attack against the creature. You can now conceal up to three light weapons on your person at a time.
