Ranger
Base Class: Ranger

Wardens of Northern Radiance have dedicated themselves to becoming champions the celestial night. A Warden of Northern Radiance takes up a divine oath to seek out and eliminate encroaching evil, much as a paladin does, and are known to be as graceful as the Northern Lights and replicate the shimmering of the aurora in their movement. They channel divine magic along with their keen natural instincts to track down and terminate fiendish and shadowy evils that creep into the material plane.

Northern Radiance Magic

Starting at 3rd level, you learn an additional spell when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown in the Northern Radiance Spells table. The spell counts as a ranger spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of ranger spells you know.

Aurora Burn

Starting at Level 3, you have learned to amplify the glory of the Northern Lights. You gain a pool of 3d6 burn dice which is replenished after a long rest. As a bonus action, one die can be used to coat a weapon in radiant light to add 1d6 radiant damage. The effect lasts for 10 minutes. Any Aurora Burn dice that remain unused are lost upon a long rest. You gain an extra d6 at level 10 and level 15.

Stunning Visage

Beginning at 7th level, your eyes reflect the Northern Lights' stunning visage. 3 times per long rest, you can stare into the eyes of another creature within 30 feet of you and cause them to succumb to being stunned. The creature must roll succeed on a wisdom saving throw or will be stunned for a round (DC your spell modifier). This feature can be used 3 times per long rest.

Divine Strike

At the 11th level, you gain the ability to infuse your weapon strikes with divine energy. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 2d8 radiant damage to the target.

Northern Resilience

At 15th level, whenever a creature attacks you and does not have advantage, you can use your reaction to impose disadvantage on the creature's attack roll against you. You can use this feature before or after the attack roll is made, but it must be used before the outcome of the roll is determined.
