Base Class: Barbarian
Unlike most barbarians, those who choose this path have learned to internalize their rage. Instead of dramatic displays of anger, these barbarians go quiet and focused. They are easy to underestimate, but woe to those who do. For no matter how friendly and cheerful they may be normally, when you get them mad you will regret it. It’s always the quiet ones.
Deceptive Calm
When you choose this path at 3rd level, you have a talent for being underestimated. Once per rage, before you have attacked, you may gain advantage on one melee weapon attack. You do not gain this benefit if you are attacking a creature you have fought before.
Singular Focus
Beginning at 6th level, you may choose a focus for your rage. When you enter your rage, choose a creature you can see. You have advantage on attacks against that creature, as well as any saving throws against spells cast by them. In addition, once per round, you may gain resistance to one of their melee, ranged, or spell attacks.
As a result of focusing entirely on one creature, you are left vulnerable to others. You have disadvantage on attacks against creatures other than your focus, as well as against spells cast by creatures other than your focus.
If your focus dies, you may choose another creature you can see as a bonus action. When your rage ends, you lose your focus.
When you reach 14th level in this class, you gain resistance to all attacks by your focus.
Calming Presence
Beginning at 10th level, your calmness in the face of danger inspires your allies. While you are raging, friendly creatures within 30 feet of you are immune to being frightened or charmed. If any of these creatures are frightened when your rage begins, the effect ends. Charm effects do not end.
Breaking Point
Starting at 14th level, on your turn, you may choose to release your internalized anger in a dramatic display of wrath. When you do, you get advantage on all attacks, ability checks and saving throws until the start of your next turn. At the start of your next turn, your rage immediately ends and you spend the turn recovering from your outburst. You cannot move or take any actions or bonus actions. In addition, you may not take reactions until the start of the following turn.
Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest.
