Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

A sad attempt at revamping the Phoenix UA sorc. Will be probably finished in 2077.

Song of Fire

Your phoenix essence allows you to traverse the earth like the majestic bird itself. You can use your voice as a spellcasting focus. Additionally, at the beginning of your turn in combat you may activate or maintain Fire Walk. You may end this effect early at any time without expending an action:

Any creature that touches you takes 1d4 fire damage on their/your turn. Once per turn, you automatically ignite any and/or all objects you come into physical contact with, dealing 1d4 fire damage. Whilst Fire Walk is active, you shed bright light in a 5-foot radius and dim light for an additional 5 feet.

This feature's damage increases to 1d6 at level 5, 1d8 at level 11, and 1d10 at level 17.

Starting at 2nd level, you can spend 1 sorcery point to engulf yourself in a Mantling Samsara as a bonus action. For 1 minute, this mantle hovers behind your back and/or surrounds your arms (your choice). You determine your mantle's appearance, and it vanishes early if you are incapacitated or die.

While the Mantling Samsara is present, you gain the following benefits:

* You can add your Charisma modifier to the damage roll of any spell that deals fire damage

* You emit an additional 10 foot radius of bright light, and an additional 10 foot radius of dim light * You gain an additional stack of Fire Absorption

* Fire Walk now affects creatures that hit you with a melee attack while within 5 feet

When your Mantling Samsara ends, you emit a fiery explosion that consumes a hit die. Each creature within a 10 foot radius must roll a Dex save (spell save), taking 2d6 fire damage and being knocked prone on a failure, or half as much on a success. Upon exploding in this fashion, you are stunned and knocked prone for one turn

Additional Spells

You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Phoenix Spells table. Each of these spells counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn't count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.

When casting a spell from the Phoenix Spell table, you lose hit points equal to 2 times the spell slot level

Winged Samsara

You can summon the wings of your inner phoenix. As a bonus action, or as part of the bonus action you take to activate Mantling Samsara, you can spend 1 sorcery point to summon these wings for 1 minute. It vanishes early if you are incapacitated or die. The phoenix wings spread from behind your back. You determine its appearance. While the Winged Samsara is present, you gain the following benefits:

* You emit an additional 10 foot radius of bright light, and an additional 10 foot radius of dim light

* You gain an additional stack of Fire Absorption

* You gain a flying speed of 30 ft

* You can disengage as a bonus action

* Fire Walk now allows you to move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing, and

When your Winged Samsara ends, you emit a blinding light that consumes a hit die. Each creature within a 10 foot radius must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (Spell save dc) or be blinded until the end of your next turn. Upon exiting Winged Samsara, you are stunned and knocked prone for one turn.
