Magic is a large part of many societies, whether it be common or very rare. It gives people the power to change the world on a whim, creating devastation or miracles depending on the wielder. And while beautiful there are those who believe that magic corrupts people, that it causes the natural world to give way into chaos and that it brings inequality between those with magical ability and those that do not. The Tesa-Uran are such people, and through years of training have unlocked a way to come closer to completing their goal, The Way of MagicBane. When the Overlord, an artificial intelligence that rules the Tesa-Uran country, discovered the body of an ancient being along with a powerful magical item of anti-magic, they quickly started training specialized soldiers for this path. Through understanding how magic works, how people channel it, and knowing where to hit so that magical reserves are shut down, people who follow the Way of Magicbane destroy spell casters and other magic users.

Magic Understanding

In order to stop magic one must first understand it. At 3rd level when you pick this archetype you become proficient in the Arcana skill. In addition to this, when you strike an enemy that is concentrating on a magical effect using an Unarmed Strike they have disadvantage on their saving throw to maintain concentration. When they make this concentration check, you can choose to have the DC equal your Ki Save DC (8 + your wisdom mod + your proficiency bonus).

Magic Radar

By training in the Way of Magicbane you learn how to find tell tale signs of magic. Also at 3rd level by spending 1 minute observing, you can sense the presence of magic within 60ft of you for 10 minutes. If you sense magic in this way, you can use your action to see a faint aura around any visible creature or object in the area that bears magic, and you learn its school of magic, if any. You can not sense magic in this way if the magic source is blocked by 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt. You can do this a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier. 

Magic Counterstrike

You become adept at reacting to sudden castings of magic. At 6th level, when a creature within your melee distance casts a spell, you can spend a reaction to make an unarmed strike against them. If the strike hits, you can spend 1 ki point and make a wisdom check, the DC being 10 + spell's level. On a success, the creature wastes the spell slot and is unable to cast the spell. When you reach 11th level you can add your proficiency to the check. 

Magic Shutdown

Your knowledge of the workings of magic and it's paths through the body allow you to shut off an enemies ability to use magic for a short time. At 11th level, when you strike a creature, you can spend 3 Ki points to force them to make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is unable to use spells or magical effects as if it was within the area of an Anti-magic field for 1 minute. If they attempt to use a spell or magical effect, they take 3d6 physic damage. A creature can remake the Con save at the end of each of their turns, ending the effect on a success.

Delete Magic

You've reached the peak of being a Magicbane, and can even delete magic before it's even used. At 17th level, whenever you strike a spellcaster with your unarmed strikes, you can force them to make a constitution saving throw by spending 5 Ki Points. On a failed save, the creature looses a spell slot of a level that can be no more than half your proficiency bonus. You can stack the maximum level of spell slot lost by striking more than once if you can spare the Ki points. For instance, if you strike a creature 3 times and spend the required Ki points (15 Ki points total), you can have them loose a spell slot of a level equal to 3 times half your proficiency bonus. The creature only makes one save, at the end of all the strikes.
