Base Class: Monk
Years of studying and maintaining the worlds knowledge has provided you with keen insight and understanding of the world around you.
Librarian Methods
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you glean from your history of managing the inventory in a library a method to be more resourceful when your hands are full allowing you to attack as though unarmed when holding up to one book per hand.
Studying writing all of your life has given you insight into abstract methods of communication. You can cast Skywrite or Illusory Script an amount of times equal to your Wisdom modifier. You cannot do so again until the following dawn.
Flowing Knowledge
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, your study and meditation of knowledge throughout your library has given you a keen understanding of most things. Because knowledge is not equally split equally between all languages, you learned new languages to advance yourself.
You gain proficiency in Insight. In addition, choose one Wisdom, Intelligence, or Charisma skill to become proficient in.
You learn two languages of your choice.
Sequestered Knowledge
Starting at 6th level, as a bonus action, you may expend 1 Ki points to make an Insight check contested by your opponents Deception. On a success, you recall descriptions of the style of combat being used against you and can choose either to have advantage on attack rolls, or to give disadvantage on your targets attack rolls against you. This effect lasts until the end of your next turn.
Wall of Text
Starting at 11th level, while holding a minimum of one book but no more than one book per hand and when struck by a weapon attack or spell requiring an attack roll, you can spend one Ki point to use your reaction to shield yourself with a book increasing your armor class by your Wisdom modifier until the start of your next turn.
History Repeating
Starting at 17th level, after taking an attack action, as a bonus action, you can force your target to relive history. Choose to spend 4, 6, 8, or 10 Ki points and the target takes damage from previous attacks against them equal to half the number of Ki points spent. If the player spends 10 Ki points, the target takes damage equal to the last 5 attacks against them. Missed attacks still do 0 damage.
