Monk
Base Class: Monk

Those who follow the Way of Channeling have practiced the art of channeling Ki into objects, causing strange and wonderful things to happen too them. These monks are proven to be formidable foes with strong attacks and magic, so be careful when fighting one...you won't leave unscathed.

Channel Ki

3rd Level Way of Channeling feature

As a bonus action, expending 1 Ki point you create a bond between yourself and a weapon, and channel your Ki into it to gain the following benefits for 10 minutes.

On a hit, you deal an extra 1d8 Radiant damage to the target. This damage increases by 1d8 at 11th level (2d8).

You can use your Flurry of Blows ability with this weapon instead of your fists.

All damage dealt by the weapon is Radiant, and is considered magical if it wasn't already.

Bonus Proficiencies

You gain proficiency with all simple weapons.

Enhanced Channeling

6th Level Way of Channeling feature

Your Ki Channeling has improved.

When using your Ki Channeling ability, you can now add an extra effect to your attack.

Overdrive
You add an extra 1d8+ your PB (proficiency bonus) to your damage made with your imbued weapon.

Siphon
You gain life equal to half the damage you deal with an attack made with your Ki-imbued weapon.

You can add these effects to your weapon a number of times equal to your PB
(proficiency bonus), and regain those uses after a long rest.

Imbue Creature

11th Level Way of Channeling feature

Your Ki channeling has become more flexible, and you can now channel Ki through creatures.

As a bonus action using 3 Ki points, you touch one creature and bestow either a benefit or detriment.

Benefit
The targeted creature deals an extra 1d8+ your PB (proficiency bonus) Radiant damage on a hit with any weapon, their movement speed increases by 10 feet, they have a d6 to add to any roll that disappears after one use, and they have advantage on Wisdom saving throws.

Detriment
The targeted creature takes 1d8+ your PB (proficiency bonus) Necrotic damage whenever they make against you or a friendly creature, and have disadvantage on all Wisdom saving throws.

These effects last 1 minute, and the damage taken/dealt increases by 1d8 at 17th level (2d8).

In addition, the die taken away/added to a roll made by your target increases by 1d6 at 17th level (2d6)

Ki Outburst

17th Level Way of Channeling feature

You have mastered Ki channeling, and can now use Ki in ways most monks cannot.

When making attack with your imbued weapon, you can expend 7 Ki points to have an explosion of Ki erupt from your weapon.

All Friendly/Chosen creatures gain 8d6 hit points, and are cleansed of any negative conditions afflicting them.

All Hostile/Chosen creatures must make a Dexterity saving throw equal to your Ki save DC, or take 8d6 Radiant damage and are knocked prone. If they succeed, they take half damage and aren’t knocked prone.
