Base Class: Ranger
Wild Heart Rangers are of a secret order of Druids and Rangers alike who are unlike any other Ranger orginization. They are less likely to protect and innocent, and more likely to protect the wildlife within the nature they live. That does not mean they will not go out of their way to fight a monster, fey, or fiend, should they come the Rangers way, but otherwise, if a human wanders into the forest and is eaten by a tiger, it was simply nature's meal.
Your organization is that of a compact with the Fey. You have sworn your allegiance to this compact. You're duty is to protect these compacts. How you do so is up to you.
Spirit of the Wild
3rd-level Wild Heart feature
Your ability to target the vital spot of every enemy you face is so engrained in your movements that it is almost impossible for you to miss.
When you use the attack action to make a melee or ranged weapon attack, you may add an additional 1d8 to your attack. This may be used once per turn. This attack turns all damage applied during this turn into psychic damage. This damage increases at 11th level (2d8)
Wild Heart Magic

Bound For Life
3rd-level Wild Heart feature
At 3rd level, you learn the Find Greater Steed Spell, and cast it as a ritual. The spell takes 1 hour to cast + the regular casting time. The bond you make is permeant, and the type of steed you create when you first use this ability is the same steed you will have until the day you die. So, choose wisely, or, like your fey patrons, let fate decide for you.
While mounted, you gain the following effects.
- +2 to hit with ranged or melee weapons
- Advantage on all saving throws that would cause you to go prone
- Attackers have disadvantage to hit your mount, but a straight roll to hit you
- Your mount uses it's dedicated stat block, however, it's health is decided by 5+ 5 times your Ranger Level
Hunter and Forager
7th-level Wild Heart feature
Your training to this point has lead you to this. You have absorbed as much knowledge in your dedicated fighting style, in the terrain that you have traversed, as well as the creatures you have faced and bested. As such, you have advantage on all checks made to remember any knowledge regarding one of your favored enemies, and you have expertise in the survival and nature skills. If you already have expertise in these skills, you may choose a different expertise in a single skill
Additionally, once you reach 7th level in this class you gain the following benefits
- When you take the attack action and attack with a melee or ranged weapon, you may make an additional weapon attack as a bonus action
- You can make arrows at 1/4 the cost it would be to buy them. These arrows deal the same amount of damage depending on the type of bow you use. This process takes you 1 hour to gather and create 5 arrows. Additionally, if you are in your favored terrain and the items are available, you can make stone tipped arrows at no cost. These arrows deal 1d4
Bond of the Compact
11th-level Wild Heart feature
You're connection to nature and the compact is unshakable. When you reach level 11 in this class, you gain the following benefits
- You can use the Plane Shift spell once per long rest. You can use this spell to travel to the fey wilds and meet with your compact. Here, you can get additional support, replenish spell slots, or take on quests for the material realm. When using this ability, you may bring up to 5 creatures with you.
- Your attacks are now magical regardless if you are using a magical weapon. All of your attack deal Force, Psychic, or Cold damage. Your choice.
- Additionally you can call upon the compact for help. If you are in danger of falling in battle, you can roll a d100. On a 25% chance or less, the compact comes to your aid. Your dm decides on how that aid is administered.
Wild Heart
15th-level Wild Heart feature
When you reach 15th level in this class, you become one with the Compact. At 15th level, you access the sending spell. You can cast it across your plane, but you can only do so when sending to the fey wilds. You can use this spell at will. Additionally, because of your continued support to the compact, you gain the following effects
- Your Mount now scales it's AC by 14 + Your wisdom modifier. If it's natural AC is already higher, disregard this.
- It's HP is calculated by 10 + Your Wisdom Modifier + 7 x Your level.
- Your wisdom modifier increases by 2. This increases your maximum as well.
