Base Class: Druid
The Circle was formed when Druids sought a better means to defend the reaches of the earth. They wished to create eternal defenders and form lasting guardians that would sit in protection of all nature. The learned to draw forth the magic of Nature and concentrate it into cores, which were then employed in stone-carved creations held by living vines and wood. The core invigorated the creation and sparked it's internal magic. The beast-like constructs awoke to the magic and posted themselves in defense of the land. They scattered throughout and resided deep within groves and sanctuaries.
Few of these druids exist, as many wary of the power the circle holds and what may go awry when they craft these constructs. However the power does still persist and some do still seek it. It's gifts grant it's Druids the ability to create new entities born of nature's will and given life by the speaker's of that will.
Core & Construct Creation
At 2nd level when you choose this circle you may create a Natural Core. These items are used to power Druidic Constructs made from the earth. You may take an action to empower the core with a single cantrip that you know, as well as take an action to place the core within a construct you have made or stored. When you implant the core into a construct, it will spring too life full of Nature Magic and will follow commands you give it without falter.
At 2nd Level when you take this Circle, you may expend a use of your Wild-shape to harness natural magic and create a construct's body out of stone, wood, vines, foliage, shrubbery, and other natural material within the immediate area. You create a construct's form similar to beast's you have seen, studied, or encountered on your travels for longer than 1 hour.
Constructs will not operate or be active without a core within them. These cores need not have spells attached to them to power the construct, and the form it was given will dictate it's available actions as an entity. The constructs can be no larger than Small or Tiny.
Serene Shield
At 3rd level you may spend your reaction to have a construct within range move and take a strike for yourself or an ally. This does not negate the attack wholly, rather the attack simply now goes against the Construct's AC and HP accordingly.
Guardian's Spark
At 6th level the Druid may now infuse a Natural Core with a spell of 1st level or 2nd level, rather than a cantrip. The construct may cast these spells a number of times equal to the Druid's spell slots of the same level. The construct may regain spell slots anytime the Druid does so through resting, or by entering a dormant state once a day for eight hours.
Staunch Sentinel
At 10th level in the Circle of Nature's Guardian, the Druidic Constructs may be crafted of a size Large or smaller, still limited to beasts and entities you have seen, encountered, or studied for an hour or longer. The Constructs now also gain a +2 to AC and may now be infused with spells of 3rd and 4th levels, while retaining the spell slot restrictions of the Druid.
The Land's Absolver
At 14th level in the Circle of Nature's Guardian you may now craft constructs that exceed the size limit when you expend two uses of your Wildshape. Cores can now be infused with a single Spell that requires a spell slot of 5th level or lower, as well as a cantrip. Your constructs now persist even after your death, they shall continue on with their work and the primary directive they were given before your death. If a primary directive was not given, or they accomplish post-mortem, they shall seek out a Druid's Grove, a Sanctuary to Nature Magic, or some other locale attuned to the plane they currently reside upon and will protect it without falter.

Posted Nov 26, 2021You can give them directives. They understand common, can write it if they have the proper appendages or digits, and can speak it if you use a stat-block for a creature that can speak, mimic, or gesture in some manner. You may also use some manner of spell that involves communication to make varying constructs of communication purposes.

Posted Nov 26, 2021Howdy! I've been on Hiatus for a while and so I apologize for such a late reply to you and other!
1. The spells work from the Druid's stats, yes.
2. You can make as many constructs as your Dm allows, and at the levels you can craft them at properly.
3. The stats of the entity are that of the stat block of the design, as if it were a wildshape yes.
4. The Cr of the Constructs cannot exceed that of that of the base Wildshape table, however their form need not always resemble the exact stat-block used for the construct. A wonderful example I can provide is a player who recently used the Bat stat-block for a construct that casts Warding Winds. The bat stat block best resembled the stats for his flavored design, which was an armless Gargoyle-esque construct. It was bound by Bat size, and the varying accompanying stats. It even functioned with the Blindsight, using the roleplay that his character hadn't mastered finer details and formed this construct with no represented eyes, thus it couldn't see without using it's magic as a blindsight.
I hope this helped clear up some matters with the class, and I am grateful to you for asking such questions. It will help me sure the class up in the long run. Thank you.

Posted Nov 4, 2021Howdy! Quick question. If they last forever and they can cast... Say the entangle spell when reaching 6th lvl. They would have 4 instances of emtangle. A few questions:
1. Do the spells use the druid's spellcasting scores and DCs?
2. RAW, does this mean ypu can create 4 hawks that each have 4 instances of entangle every long rest?
3. Do you interpret the stats as a druid's wildshape?
4. What is the highest CR of beast summoned?
5. Do they have to be just beasts?

Posted Aug 5, 2021Hi, so I was mostly wondering- what is the stat block of these constructs? Is it exactly that of the Animate Objects spell, slightly different, or very different?

Posted Jan 14, 2021As per the initial class features, you can make them any particular influence you wish for flavor, but they retain size constraints per levels. So even if you choose to say make it fiendish or fey-like, or such, it's perfectly fine, but the it will still be made of earthern materials, stones and wood and such.

Posted Jan 8, 2021Howdy! I'm more than happy to answer questions. I do want to let you know this is currently in play-test and not a finalized form. It was submitted so companions of mine could see it off-site with a link.
Now, onto the answers! Cores do no require materials to make, as it's just a concentration of Nature Magic and the classes' "free" feature. Constructs last forever, until their core is destroyed, their HP hits 0, or their form becomes unrepairable and unusable. These can all occur separately at the DM's desire. A body may be lost, but the core is still good and may be placed into another construct, or vice versa with the construct being pristine, but a broken core.

Posted Jan 8, 2021How long do the constructs last and what does it take to make a core cause I presume you could have multiple. Also what are the stats of the constructs
