Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

The second death one has, it is said, is when no one remembers you anymore; in this way, those with the Pact of the Memory Keeper seek immortality. Those who take this pact span the range of alignments, with many whose end goal is to simply make sure that something cherished to them does not go forgotten in this world. Often tasked both with seeking old knowledge and history to be preserved as well as keeping memories alive, many Memory Keepers take to adventuring to harvest memories young or old, and to keep the traditions they are bound to alive.

Much like their warlocks, patrons of this pact vary broadly. Beings such as the Raven Queen, Ogmha, Iwrenmour Da'thali, Amaunator, or even Dendar the Night Serpent are such examples of some of those who may seek to either preserve the memories of the world, or seek to enforce old ones.

Lest They Be Forgotten

When you or an ally are attacked within a 30 foot radius, you may use your reaction to force an enemy creature to make a Wisdom Saving Throw  (DC {{savedc:cha}}). If they fail, the creature has disadvantage on all attacks until the start of your next round. This ability can only be used once per short or long rest.

Resilience of the Old Ways

Starting at 10th level, your patron has gifted you a superior talent of facing those who would harm your mind and the previous recollections it holds. You gain resistance to psychic damage. Additionally, you gain proficiency in Intelligence Saving throws

History Has Its Eyes on You

Starting at 14th level, your patron has rewarded your dedication with the power to summon the lifetimes of old to either aid you or break your foes.

As an action, you can choose one of the following effects:

  • Dauntless Legends: You are flanked by the heroes of old, their illusory figures dancing around you. Until the end of your next turn, you and your allies in a 15 foot radius can add your CHA modifier to melee attacks made in this aura.
  • Stain of Time: You choose a creature within a 30 foot radius to be haunted by the ghosts of the past, branding them to become another red stain on the fabric of time. The creature takes 5d8 psychic damage, and must make a Wisdom Save against your Spell Save DC. If they fail, they are considered stunned until the end of your next round.
