Base Class: Bard
Most bards wield their bardic magic through instruments and their elegant voices, using them to cast spells that aid their allies and weaken their enemies. The bards of the College of the Thunderous Boom however, wield their very voices as weapons, training until their voices are reminiscent of booming thunder from the skies above instead of wasting their time performing on a stage.
Shout of Inspiration
Starting when you choose this College at 3rd level, your voice has grown stronger and louder. Whenever you use your Bardic Inspiration, its range is permanently increased to 120 feet, instead of just 60 feet.
Booming Echo
Also at 3rd level, the magic held within your shouts of inspiration leaves echoes behind that grant extra inspiration to other allies. Whenever an ally expends a Bardic Inspiration die you’ve given them, any additional ally within 10 feet of them gains a bonus to their next attack roll, saving throw or ability check equal to 1d4.
Maximum Volume
At 6th level, you’ve learnt how to push your voice to its maximum capacity. Once per turn when you cast a spell that deals thunder damage, you can choose to reroll a number of the damage dice up to your Charisma modifier (minimum of one). You must use the new rolls.
Voice of Thunder
At 14th level, your voice booms like a roaring thunder on the battlefield. You gain the following features:
Bardic Boom. You’ve learnt how to magically reinforce your vocal cords and heighten your volume even further. Once per short rest when you cast a spell that deals thunder damage, you can deal additional thunder damage equal to half your Bard level rounded up.
Hardened Hearing. Your time spent shouting at the top of your lungs and casting loud spell after loud spell has reinforced your hearing. You are resistant to thunder damage and are immune to being deafened.
