Bards of the College of Luck know if you trust Lady Luck she never lets you down. These performers travel from town to town, fleecing the locals in whatever casino or gambling institution the local laws allow. Among their companions Bards of the College of Luck are known to walk in an almost palpable halo of good fortune. A good fortune they are, thankfully, more than willing to share.

Bonus Proficiencies

When you join the College of Luck at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in three gaming sets of your choice, and one bonus skill proficiency: Deception, Insight, Perception, or Sleight of Hand. Your proficiency bonus is also doubled for any ability check involving a gaming set.

Push Your Luck

Also at 3rd level, you instill a bit of your gambling confidence in your compatriots when you inspire them. When a creature you inspired roll their Bardic Inspiration die they can choose to roll a second die. if the second roll is lower than the original Inspiration result then both are lost and the Bardic Inspiration die is lost. If the result of the second roll is ewual to or higher than the first Inspiration roll then both are added to the inspired roll.

Luck of the Draw

At 6th level, you are bequeathed a deck of tarot cards. These cards can be used once per long rest to draw three random affects. The affects are selected by rolling a d12 and checking the following list.

1) Strength Woe                7) Strength Weal

2) Dexterity Woe                8) Dexterity Weal

3) Constitution Woe          9) Constitution Weal

4) Intelligence Woe         10) Intelligence Weal

5) Wisdom Woe               11) Wisdom Weal

6) Charisma Woe            12) Charisma Weal

When a creature you can see makes a saving throw, ability check, or attack roll you can expend your reaction and a card that matches that ability score. If you play a Woe the creature gain disadvantage on the roll. If you play a Weal the creature gains advantage on the roll.

Pocket Ace

Starting at 14th level, you gain an additional use of Bardic Inspiration. Once per long rest you can expend it and record the result of the roll to keep for later use. After a creature you inspired uses their Bardic Inspiration die, but before they know the outcome or choose to use your Push Your Luck feature, you can exchange the result of their Bardic Inspiration roll with your Pocket Ace. You may also expend your Pocket Ace to bolster one of your own ability checks, saving throws, or attack rolls.
