Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

An Orc chieftain sits under the stars, drawing insight and guidance from the ageless universe that opens before him. A Genasi priestess falls in flame and fury upon the battlefield, descending like a meteorite on her foes. Two lizardfolk leave carnage in their wake as they breach the frontline, one channeling the brilliance of an imploding star into a single wrathful strike, while their compatriot leaves her foes gasping for air as the life is slowly drawn from their bodies.

Those who dwell in the abbey and the wood may find peace with the universe, but only those who live under the stars, who traverse the backs of mountains and climb to the peaks can comprehend the true size of the cosmos. In some instances, a warrior touched by the night sky may begin to draw in its subtle mystery, and exemplify the overwhelming strength of those cosmic forces that shape the stars and planets into being.

Wisdom of Creation

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you begin to comprehend the whispering of the cosmos, and the innate sense behind all events. You add your constitution modifier to Wisdom checks. Additionally you improve your Danger Sense feature. While raging you can gain advantage on saving throws against effects you can see other than Dexterity saving throws a number of times equal to your rage bonus. To gain this benefit, you can’t be blinded, deafened, or incapacitated.

You regain all expended uses of this feature at the end of a long rest.

Cometfall

At 6th level, you can momentarily harness the might of hurtling celestial bodies. While raging you can use a bonus action to launch yourself in comet form. You fly in a straight line up to your movement speed to a space within range and fall if you end your turn in the air and nothing is holding you aloft. You have resistance to all damage during this movement, and if you use this feature at the start of your turn you can choose to commit your action and movement to the effect as well.

The effect ends when you land, at which point all creatures within 10 feet of the space in which you land must succeed a Dexterity saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus), taking force damage and being pushed back 5 feet on a failed save or taking half damage on a successful save. The damage for this feature is calculated as a number of d8 equal to your rage damage bonus.

If you choose to commit your movement and action to this feature you the effect’s radius increases to 15 feet, the distance you can cover increases by twice your movement speed, and you add an additional 2 dice to the total rolled.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Touch of the Void

At 10th level, you learn to channel the vast, gnawing vacuity of the universe. While raging you can use your action to create a vacuum that lasts until the end of your rage or until you choose to end it. The vacuum extends from your space 10 feet in all directions and is considered to be under the effects of the silence spell with the following additional effects. Nonmagical flames are extinguished within the vacuum’s space, and creatures fully within the space of the vacuum have resistance to fire damage. Creatures other than you that start their turn within the vacuum or enter into the vacuum for the first time take necrotic damage equal to your Constitution modifier and must succeed a Constitution saving throw or suffer one level of exhaustion. A creature cannot receive more than 3 levels of exhaustion from Touch of the Void, and once a creature leaves the vacuums space they lose one level of exhaustion taken from this feature at the start of each of their turns.

Additionally you gain resistance to necrotic damage while raging.

Nova

By 14th level, the power of the cosmos is always at your fingertips, allowing you to summon its destructive properties in a moment of need.

When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can expend one or more uses of your rage feature to deal radiant damage to the target, in addition to the weapon’s damage. The extra damage is 3d10 for a single use of your rage feature, plus 1d10 for each additional rage expended. You can only expend a number of rages equal to your rage damage bonus through this feature.

Creatures other than you within 5 feet of the target creature must succeed a Dexterity saving throw or take half the radiant damage dealt, taking no damage on a successful save.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
