Predator

The Conclave of The Predator is a ranger subclass dedicated to tracking, stalking and eliminating your opponents.  You hunt, like the great beasts of the land!

Master of the Wild

At 3rd level you gain proficiency in stealth and survival.  If you are already proficient in these abilities, you gain expertise.

Study Your Prey

At 7th level, you can make a survival check (DC set by your DM) to find out two pieces of information about your prey:

• Movement Type and Speed
• Armour Type (a description of the prey's armour)
• Hit Dice Type e.g. D6, D8, D10, D12 (but not the number of Hit Dice)
• Weapon Type (a description of the prey's weapon / main attack)

You can only do this once for any type of prey.

Caught Off Guard

At 11th level, if you surprise your opponent all successful attacks are a critical hit in the surprise round.

Release the Beast

At 15th level, you gain the ability to cast polymorph on yourself once per long rest to allow you to turn in to one specific type of beast.  You can change the type of beast every time you level up.

The spell does not count towards your spell slots, it requires no components and no concentration is required on the spell for it's duration.  You retain your mental stats (Wisdom and Intelligence), your personality and your alignment whilst you are polymorphed.  You can drop the form at any time during the hour.
