Circle of the Cuddles

Druids of the Circle of the Cuddles are tranquil and peaceful protectors of life. They guide and sleep with all kind of creatures helping them rest better. This circle are experts in transforming into fluffy comfortable animals and they gather each night with their closest ones and everyone who wants to join in to relax, helping in them recover.

The druid of this circle are well know for adapting their transformation to better the rest of their companions, growing bigger and fluffier for a better snuggle. When traveling they are known to take every action to help the people they care for in battle offering aid and protection if necessary.

Cuddle Form

When you choose this circle at 2nd level, your have the ability to change your size to better fit you cuddles and your transformation into fluffy beasts (beasts with fur) have more fluff to them.

If you transform into a beast with fur you have the following benefits:

• You can choose to increase or decrease the size category of the beast by 1.
• Your thicker fur grants you +1 AC
• And the the Hit Points of the transformation increases by half your druid level rounded up.

 

Relaxing Rest

 Starting at 2nd level When relaxing you emit an aura of soothing energy up to 5ft around you. All creatures (including you) that take a short or long rest inside the area gain the following benefits:

• Temporary Hit Points equal to your your Druid level/2 +  WIS modifier rounded up.
• Heal Free Hit Dices equal to half your Proficiency bonus rounded down.

Additionally when you start a short or long rest you can transform into a fluffy beast (furred beast) (with the benefits of Cuddle Form) without expending a use of your Wild Shape. If you become unconscious for any reason other than sleep, drop to 0 hit points, you die or you complete your rest you revert to your original form. 

In the case you enter into combat during this rest you can choose to revert to your original form or stay transformed but expend a use of Wild Shape.  

Carrier Of Burdens

Starting at 3rd level your fluff has grown more comfortable than a bed and your resolve to help people rest has become stronger. Creatures can take a long or short rest while riding you. If the creatures complete the short or long rest they gain the benefits of the relaxing rest feature.

 

 

Fluffy Transformation

The fluffy nature of your circle grant you the ability to transform into fluffier animal forms. Starting at 6th level, you can use your Wild Shape to transform into a furry beast with a challenge rating as high as your Druid Level divided by 3, rounded down.

Tranquil Protection

After a long or short rest you form a bond with creatures that rested within a 5ft range of you up to your druid level divided by 3 rounded down. These creatures become your protectees.

During combat, when one of the these creatures takes damage, you can use your reaction to move your full movement speed towards them without provoking opportunity attacks. If you reach them you grant them resistance to the damage, and you take the same amount of damage that they did from that instance of damage.

Indomitable Fluff

Starting at 10th level, when you use your Wild Shape to transform into a furred beast you can choose to increase or decrease the size of the beast by 2 instead of 1.

Walking Restfullness

By 14th level, people become relaxed around you even when awake. You can now help ease the pain of your companions giving them the benefits of resting near you even when awake.

As an action any chosen creature within 5ft of you gain the benefits of Relaxing Rest while awake. 

You can use this feature twice every long rest.
