Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

The Warrior of the Phoenix spent years of their life training under the Elder Phoenixes. You were put through brutal strength training for weeks on end. After what felt like years the Elder Phoenixes finally deemed you worthy and began training you in combat. They would guide you to nearby thugs to practice or even dive at you themselves. Through it all you learned the ways of the Phoenix and at the end of your training you were offered a powerful sword. A sword that would help you conquer your enemies and bring forth a roaring fire.

3rd level (Blade of the Phoenix):

When selecting this blade at level 3 your blade gains the flames of a phoenix. You can activate your blade for 1 minute, making your blade light ablaze. While the weapon is activated, it deals an additional 1d4 fire damage for the first attack of each attack action. Upon reaching level 10, the damage is increased to 1d6 fire. You can activate your blade a number of times equal to 1+ your proficiency bonus and the uses are replenished at dawn.

7th level (Will of the Phoenix):

Starting at level 7 you gain resistance to fire damage, and are able to speak, read, and write Ignan.

10th level (Healing Flames):

You have deepened your connection to the Phoenix through use of your blade and have gained their rejuvenating powers. You gain immunity to fire while your sword is activated. Additionally, your Second Wind is replaced with Fiery Embrace and you gain three charges of it. Fiery Embrace can be used as a bonus action and restores 1d6+Charisma-modifier health. After each use of Fiery Embrace, your skin cracks like broken glass and a red glow fills the cracks. After you use a charge the cracks emit a dim light for 15 feet.

15th level (Flames of the Phoenix):

At level 15, when activating your "Blade of the Phoenix", flames wreath out from your feet in a 20 foot radius around you and setting fire to the ground, these flames do not heal you but deal 1d8 fire damage per turn. The flames remain until your blade’s activation is over. While standing in the fire your eyes are a bright fiery glow, and using Fiery Embrace restores 1d12+Fighter-Level instead. Additionally, you may choose any friendly, non-hostile, creature you see to not take damage from the fire but instead heal for 1d4 per turn.

18th level (Aspect of the Phoenix):

At the 18th level you have deepened your connection to the Phoenix to the point where you are considered one yourself. All healing effects are increased by 1d12. You gain immunity to fire and have advantage on death saving throws. Upon failing three death saving throws, fire erupts from your body in a 20ft radius dealing 2d8 fire damage and revives you to half health. You must finish a long rest before you can be revived this way again.
