Base Class: Rogue
Learning in the ways of a poisoner you poison your foes using the poison as a way to deal effective damage over time watching your enemies suffer.
Why do people cut things down with a blade when poison will do it so much more... Efficiently? These are questions I ask myself every day, and each day I find the same answer; Because people are fools, and I am not!
Experienced Poisoner
Starting at 3rd level, when you choose this archetype, you gain expertise with Poisoner's Kit, meaning you double your proficiency bonus when using it you also have advantage on Constitution saving throws against poison. You also gain the ability to make Potion of Poison with innate skills and without the use of magic to mask the poison. This requires a poisoners kit and can be done during the 2 hours of light activity in a long rest and you make potions equal to your proficiency bonus. The DC of your potion of poison is (8+Dex+poficiency) and does damage equal to your sneak attack.
Envenom
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you can spend 30 minutes during a short or long rest to coat either one melee weapon, 20 arrows, or 20 bullets with poison. If you hit a target with a poisoned attack, the target must succeed on a DC (8 + dex + proficiency) Constitution saving throw, taking 1d4 poison damage on a failed save, or none on a successful. This increases at 5th (1d6), 9th (1d8), 13th (1d10), 17th (1d12) levels.
Camouflaged Poison
Your poison becomes senseless and colourless, making it near impossible for a normal person to detect the poison. Magic can still be used to detect it, however, they have to make an investigation check with a DC (8+dex+proficiency) for the magic to be able to detect it.
Improved Toxins
By 13th level, you have learned of more types of poisons. When you apply poison to a weapon or when making a potion, you can choose to instead forego the damage to either have the target fall asleep or be paralyzed. The sleep lasts for one minute or until the target is hit, while the paralyze lasts for one round. The DC for sleep and paralysis is (6+dex+proficiency).
Passive Poison
When you reach 17th level, poison seems to seep out of your skin. You only need to spend 1 minute preparing your poison and making potions of poison takes 1 hour instead of 2. You also gain immunity to poison damage and condition.
