Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

Expert heavy ranged weapon specialist.

Heavy Gunner Expert

  • You gain proficiency with all ranged weapons with the Heavy trait.
  • You ignore the loading penalty for heavy ranged weapons.
  • You do not gain disadvantage for ranged weapon attacks within 5 ft with heavy ranged weapons.
  • You can use a bonus action to enter or exit a "Braced" position. In this position all ranged attacks you make with heavy ranged weapons have advantage, your movement is reduced to 0 ft (but you can rotate in place) and all attacks have advantage against you. Additionally you gain disadvantage on DEX saving throws.

Controlled Fire

When you use the Action Surge feature you can channel the fierce adrenaline to deliver more powerful blows with your weapon:

  • All attacks for the rest of the round deal an extra 1d6 damage of the type that the weapon deals.

Additionally, with the increased accuracy you have gained you can concuss foes with your most accurate strikes:

  • When you roll a critical hit you can choose to stun (suffers the stunned condition) the target rather than deal double damage.

Sniper's Eye

You gain expertise in the Perception skill.

Additionally you gain a +5 bonus to Initiative.

Trigger Happy

Twice per long rest, you may use an action to make a ranged weapon attack against all enemies you can see.

Deadshot

Add +10 to your ranged weapon attacks.

.You can make a Perception check to spot a targets weaknesses as a bonus action, the DC equals the creatures challenge rating. On a success you learn the creatures vital points and you can choose to have your attacks hit these points (the DM may decide the creature has no vital points). When you hit one of these points the creature must make a CON save (DC equal to 14 or half the damage dealt, whichever is higher) and on a failure the point becomes injured until the end of the creatures next turn. While the point is injured and abilities that involve it are rolled at disadvantage e.g. an injured leg would halve movement speed, injured shoulder makes weapon attacks at disadvantage.
