Base Class: Rogue
You focus your training on the grim art of death. Those who adhere to this archetype are diverse: hired killers, spies, bounty hunters, and even specially anointed priests trained to exterminate the enemies of their deity. Stealth, poison, and disguise help you eliminate your foes with deadly efficiency.
Bonus Proficiencies
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with the disguise kit, forgery kit, and the poisoner’s kit.
Assassinate
Starting at 3rd level, you are at your deadliest when you get the drop on your enemies. Any hit you score against a creature in the first round of combat is a critical hit. Additionally, when you use your sneak attack on a creature you can mentally mark them. You have advantage on all attacks against the marked creature. You can only have one creature marked this way at a time.
Assassin’s Toolkit
At 9th level, you can choose up to two skills which you are already proficient in, and double your proficiency bonus in those skills. You also gain advantage on Initiative rolls.
Expert Poisoner
Starting at 13th level, you can create a handful of potent poisons to help you kill quickly. You can spend 10 minutes, which can be completed during a short rest, to create up to one vial of special poison. This poisons can be applied as part of an attack action. The target must make a Constitution saving throw or takes poison damage equal to number of d12’s equal to your proficiency bonus, and is poisoned for 1 minute (The DC is 8+ your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence modifier). On a successful save they take half as much poison damage and are not poisoned.
Death Strike
Starting at 17th level, you become a master of instant death. When you score a critical hit, the target must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 + your Dexterity modifier + your proficiency bonus). On a failed save, double the damage of your attack against the creature.
