Base Class: Bard
Bards of the College of Bewilderment are known to be quite reclusive, always hiding behind illusions and never showing their face to anyone. They are also quite vain, always looking for an excuse to glance at themselves in front of a mirror. Because of these traits, many Bards of this college tend to perform illusion tricks, often mistaken for wizards or rogues for their unique magic and illusiveness. With their ability to bend light, the space around them seemingly becomes unreachable- only a reflection of what was seen is left.
Bonus Proficiencies
When you join the College of Lore at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with three skills of your choice.
Weaving Illusion
Also at 3rd level, you learn how to use your skills to charm even the fabric of space, evading attacks by manipulating your position and taking advantage of their bewilderment. When a creature that you can see within 60 feet of you makes an attack roll, an ability check, or a damage roll, you can use your reaction to expend one of your uses of Bardic Inspiration to dive into your mirage cloak. Any rolls that affect you afterwards, the originator must roll a d20 with perception higher than 15 . If they fail, they will miss you, and you get access to another action. This effect goes after hit rolls.
*Evading an attack or effect is different from resisting or invulning through one
Distortion
Starting at level 3, you gain access to Distortion, allowing you to become invulnerable for a brief time at a cost of your Bardic Inspiration. This effect is instant, but does not protect you from environmental damage. If you distort, then walk into a mirror, you regain a point of Bardic Inspiration.
Disillusion
At 6th level, you become more mesmerizing with your movements. You gain access to Mirrors. When an attack misses you, the originator becomes confused. Confusion hurts the afflicted with 1d4 physic damage + your spell modifier for every roll they take for one turn.
Mirror: You weave space to refract light and create a circular mirror in a space 50 ft. around you. These mirrors are intangible, and allies can walk through them without collision. Any attack directed at the mirror, within it's respective range, can be redirected in any direction with an added 10ft. of range from the mirror (Dagger is thrown at mirror from 60 ft. -> mirror then recasts/rethrows/attacks in any direction with original range + 10 ft). After used in this manner, the mirror shatters. Alternatively, you can walk through this mirror to refresh your Mirage Cloak, but this also shatters the mirror. Any attacks redirected will refresh confusion on the target, and any attacks you make while gaining mirage cloak this way will refresh confusion. If an enemy walks through the mirror, it shatters. When the mirror shatters from any source, you cannot enter mirage cloak for 3 turns. Only one mirror can exist at a time.
Reflection
Starting at 14th level, when you go into Mirage Cloak, you can choose one target to join you. The target gains the benefits of Mirage Cloak and Confusion for as long as you stay in the Cloak. However, if they are hit, they will leave the cloak early.
