Base Class: Monk

Whether is be due to heritage or just careful practice you have a close connection to fire and heat. Monks that go down this path learn to harness the intensity of fire to enhance their bodies.

Burning strikes

Your unarmed strikes reach increase by 20 feet. You can choose whether the damage is fire or bludgeoning. If the unarmed strike is in your expanded reach it much be fire.

 

Burning Dash

When you take the dash action on your turn you can spend a ki point to surround yourself in flame. If you do this you can dash in any direction as long as it isn’t through an object. Any enemy in your path, as long as they are your size, must make a strength saving throw or be knocked prone. Anything in a five foot wide line in your way takes fire damage equal to your martial arts die and anything flammable Is set ablaze. You can spend an extra ki point to do extra damage to martial arts die( max number of ki points equal to your proficiency modifier at once on this ability).

Burning Will

You can add your wisdom to fire damage you deal.

Ash Port

You can spend a ki point to teleport a distance equal to your movement speed. This does not provoke attacks of opportunity. If you teleport to a new enemy and choose to attack then that attack will be a surprise attack. The teleport will act as your movement for your turn.

Burning strike

At 6th level, you gain the ability to channel your ki into searing waves of energy. Immediately after you take the Attack action on your turn, you can spend 2 ki points to cast the Burning Hands spell as a bonus action.

You can spend additional ki points to cast Burning Hands as a higher level spell. Each additional ki point you spend increases the spell's level by 1. The maximum number of ki points (2 plus any additional points). Max spell level equal to half your monk level.

 

Burning assault

You can spend a ki point to deal extra fire damage equal to your martial arts die one all of your attacks for the next three turns. You can spend an additional ki point to deal an extra marital arts die of fire damage for each additional point spent (max of 2 extra ki points spent). You can use the feature a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier. This replenishes on a long rest.

Being of heat

You now have resistance to fire damage if you didn’t have it already. You can cast both control flame and produce flame at will. You have disadvantage on attack and skill checks while covered in any nonflammable substance.

Searing Burn

Fire damage you deal ignores fire resistance and treats immunity to fire as resistance to fire.

Unrelenting Heat

You can spend 4 ki points to cast fireball. Casting rules for fire ball are the same as the ones for burning hands. If you are covered in something non flammable  you can now spend your bonus action to heat yourself up and burn away whatever was covering you.

Super Nova

You stock the fires of your soul and gain the benefits of investiture of fire. In addition to this all of your fire based abilities cost half as much ki for the duration of the ability. The cost is rounded down. Can’t go below one. Can use this ability a number of times equal to your half your wisdom modifier. Afterwards you can’t use any of your fire based ability except this one until you finish long rest. While this ability is active you can always use all of your fire based abilities. After you use this when you have a short rest you regain half the ki points you normally would until you complete a long rest. This ability replenishes on a long rest. Reactivating this ability after the initial use incurs an point of exhaustion.
