Base Class: Monk
The Order of Miku was founded in the fifteenth century before the Sundering.
Miku the Bronze was an Elder Dragon, who acted as a diplomat between his siblings, preferring to teach the moral races the importance of calm mind, than carve out an Empire for himself to rule.
In a monastery hidden high within the misty peaks, even today, over two and a half millennia after the founding of the order, and over a thousand years since the last dragon was sighted in Ekias, the order thrives and is well respected across the Empire of Ekias.
Draconic Style
At 3rd level, you weave dragon-like motions into your martial arts. You gain the following benefits:
- When you use Step of the Wind, you gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed. This benefit works only in short bursts; you fall if you end your turn in the air and nothing else is holding you aloft.
- When you use Patient Defence, parts of your skin become covered by a thin sheen of bronze dragon-like scales. You gain temporary hit points equal to your Monk level.
- When you use Flurry of Blows, you can change the damage type of your unarmed strikes to lightning.
- As a reaction to taking lightning damage, you can spend 1 ki to cast absorb elements at its lowest level.
Breath of the Dragon
At 6th level, you learn to release a powerful beam of lightning from you hands, mimicking the breath weapon of Miku the Bronze. You can spend 1 ki and use your action to exhale this destructive energy.
When you use this weapon, each creature in a 5ft wide x 30ft long line make a dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 2 Martial Arts dice of damage on a failed save, and half as much damage on a successful one.
You can spend additional ki points to empower your breath. Each point you spend, to a maximum of 2 additional ki, increases the damage by 2 Martial Arts dice. The maximum number of additional ki you can expend on one attack increases to 3 at 9th level, 4 at 13th level, and 5 at 17th level.
Sweeping of Wings
Starting at 11th Level, as an action, you can mimic the wing attack of a mighty dragon by harnessing your inner power. You jump 5ft into the air, and then strike the ground with your fist, creating a huge crashing sound of energy that can be heard for 100ft.
All targets in a 10ft radius around you must make a strength saving throw, on a failure, they will be pushed back 10ft.
You can expend a ki point for up to one of the following options to occur when you use this ability, it must be declared before the opponents make their saves:
- Targets take 1d8 thunder damage and 1d8 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful save
- All targets are knocked prone if they fail the saving throw
- Highlight up to four creatures in the area of effect that automatically succeed on their saving throw
Soul of the Dragon
At 17th level you have perfected fighting and thinking as a dragon on and off the battlefield.
You gain Truesight out to 30ft and your Wisdom score increases by 2 to a maximum of 22.
You also have learned to use the claws of the dragon increasing your martial arts damage die to a d12.
