Base Class: Monk
The Way of the Acidic Body requires monks to hone their bodies and ki to adapt to and utilize acid in combat. Through much practice, they have learned to make use of their ki in order to secrete acid from their bodies. Their methods, while not exactly commonplace, are used to greatly enhance their combat abilities, enabling them to glide around the battlefield and neutralize foes both up close and at range.
Acidic Strike
When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can use your ki to produce acid from your body. Whenever you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, you can spend 1 ki point to deal extra acid damage equal to one roll of your martial arts die. If another target is within 5 feet of this creature, they also take this acid damage. You can use this feature once per turn.
Viscosity Step
Starting at 3rd level, you are able to use your acid to make a path that is easy for you to traverse but difficult for others. After you choose to use Step of the Wind, you produce acid across the area you traverse, making the area which you move through on that turn difficult terrain for everyone but yourself until the end of your next turn.
Corrosive Shot
At 6th level, you can produce acid to hit enemies and lock your enemies in place.
You can spend 1 ki point to use a new attack option. This special attack is a ranged attack with a range of 30 feet. You are proficient with it and you add your Wisdom modifier to its attack rolls. On a hit, the creature takes damage equal to one roll of your Martial Arts die + your Wisdom modifier and must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, they are stunned until the end of your next turn. This special attack can be used for any of the attacks you make as part of the Attack action or Flurry of Blows.
Acidic Soul
At 6th level, your body and soul have gained acidic properties. You have resistance to acid damage and, when you deal acid damage using ki points, you ignore resistance to acid damage.
Potent Corrosion
At 11th level, your acid lingers on your foes even after you have struck them. When you damage a creature using your Acidic Strike feature, you can force them to make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, they are stunned until the end of your next turn.
Additionally, when a creature ends their turn inside of the acid created by your Viscosity Step feature, they take acid damage equal to your martial arts die.
Dissolving Blood
At 17th level, your practice and discipline in using your ki to produce acid has allowed you to make your blood corrosive. When you take damage from a creature that is within 5 feet of you, you can use your reaction to expend up to 3 ki points to make your blood corrosive, dealing acid damage to that creature. The acid damage equals one roll of your martial arts die per ki point you spend.
