Bard
Base Class: Bard

The arts in their most literal form is the expression and creation of emotion and thought through the use of the canvas and the spectrum of colors applied to it. Bards that train in this college are experts with the brush and quill and the expression of emotion. Be it the abstract depiction of friendship to cause those that gaze upon it to fall to their charms, or the lively image of a roaring fire to bring it forth in actuality, those trained in the Arts are just as deadly as anything they can imagine.

The most common individuals that practice the Arts tend to be of elven descent, though this has not barred a member of any race the ability to train and put quill and paint to the page.

Lifelike Image

3rd-level College of Arts feature

Starting at 3rd level, you can expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration to infuse your artwork with life. As an Action, you may rapidly create the image of a creature, provided you have seen it before, on a suitable surface within 5 feet of you, at which point the image rises from the surface growing or shrinking to the proper size of the creature created. The Lifelike Image you create can have a challenge rating no higher than your Bard level, it uses the statistics of whatever you create save for its AC which equals 10 + your Proficiency Bonus, and its number of Hit Points which equals half your maximum hit points, rounded down.

The Lifelike Image shares your initiative but goes at the end of your turn, it loses its multi-attack if it had one. The image will follow your orders to the best of its ability but shares the same limitations as its real counterpart. The creature lasts for 10 minutes and is made of paint or ink depending on the method you used to create it and can be washed away at the DMs discretion when exposed to water or a similar substance. You can only have one Lifelike Image active at a time.

Over the course of 10 minutes, you can use your art supplies to create the image of a location on a suitable surface, provided you have been there or have a perfect representation of that place such as another painting, drawing, or magical means of viewing it. Once the image has been created you and up to six willing creatures within 30 feet of you can leap into the image and teleport to that location. Afterward, the image you used to teleport magically vanishes leaving the area where it had been painted or drawn a blank surface. You can use this feature once every long rest.
