Base Class: Monk
The Vorés de Jenerai Den or Way of the Whirling Soul is an order of monks that have long since abandoned the path of tranquility and inner peace. To the Jenerai Den, true human potential can only be captured when your emotions are recognized, confronted, and then harnessed as part of what makes the human experience worth living. More practiced monks even magnify their emotions and embrace them as yet another tool. A key phrase amongst the Jenerai Den is "the soul is a fist of storming desires. If you strike away the fingers, then you have nothing left for which to grasp life."
While not all amongst the Jenerai Den turn to the martial arts, most do. The Jenerai Den believe that combat is a trial for themselves, and often channel themselves into various martial dances - some beautiful and others brutal. Because of this, they are trained from a young age to harness their conflicting thoughts, desires, and moods into fantastical combat styles that rely on their ever shifting and tightly controlled wants to fuel their various stances, and by shifting their desires they can adapt to any challenge.
Although an observer might hear of this philosophy and consider the Jenerai Den to be so emotionally volatile as to be unstable, most are not. They do not let their emotions rule them and often have better control over their own impulses than most people who scoff at their order.
Above all, the Jenerai Den view the human experience as a weapon to be honed, crafted, and celebrated. As such do they craft and hone their own weapons - becoming masters of combat using their own signature armament. This weapon is held sacred to them and much of their powers derive from it. It is viewed as an extension of their self, and a way to influence the magnitude of their inner desires upon the world. By taking on this symbolic weapon, the monks of this order state that they too will become weapons.
