Monk
Base Class: Monk

A monk that follows the Way of All knows their body to not be solely theirs, but just a single manifestation of one shared consciousness. These monks believe that all living creatures are in fact the same single creature, reincarnated as one another in an endless cycle of communal existence. In this way, they believe selfishness and cruelty to be moronic, unenlightened concepts native to simple animals unknowing of their own shared spirit, and seek to remedy such imbalances between all living things to provide the most joyous and pleasurable life experience to as many living creatures as possible, maximizing net happiness.

They see their ki as a representation of the true interconnection between all life, and the most effective way to create balance and maximize overall prosperity, by seeing through the eyes of others to better learn their life experiences, alter their current arbitrary form, share their energy, cull harmful malcontents, and even override the bodies of those they see as bad actors to forcibly correct their behavior. Monks of this tradition never seek to bring unnecessary pain or harm to any creature, but will not hesitate to strike down one that causes undue suffering to others or hordes that which others desire.

Some see these monks as kindhearted, generous saviors that steal from the rich and give to the poor, yet others see them as dangerous, violent zealots that plunder and pillage at their own discretion under the banner of selflessness. Most anyone can agree, however, that monks of this tradition are often haughty, as their teachings seem to overwhelmingly ingrain a sense of superiority over others who are unenlightened to the supposed true nature of the universe.

Sight of the Many

When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you learn to magically see through the eyes of others, knowing that their lives are just your own reincarnated in a new body, living concurrently. As an action, you choose one creature within 60 feet of you, and expend any number of ki points. You tap into this creature’s senses for a number of hours equal to the number of ki points you expended. An unwilling target can make a Charisma saving throw, and if it succeeds, this effect fails and you cannot target that creature with this feature again for 24 hours.

For the duration of the effect, you can use your action to replace your own senses with the creature’s, seeing through the creature’s eyes, hearing what it hears, feeling what it feels, and more, as if you were the creature. You continue to do so until you use your action to return to your normal senses. While you are using its senses, your speed is 0, you are blinded and deafened in regard to your own surroundings, and you can’t take any actions except to return to your normal senses.

At 11th level, when you use your action to replace your own senses with the creature’s, you can choose to disappear into nothingness temporarily, where you exist without a physical body or location, and cannot be targeted by any attack, spell, or other effect. When you return to your normal senses, you reappear in the space you left or in the nearest unoccupied space if that space is occupied.

Anyone is Everyone

Beginning at 6th level, you learn to change your race and other physical attributes at will, knowing that your body is an arbitrary incarnation not truly tied to your true self. As an action, you can change your race, appearance, and voice. You determine the specifics of the changes, including your coloration, hair length, and sex. You can also adjust your height and weight, but your size must be either Small or Medium. If you change your race, you change your racial traits accordingly.

One for All

Starting at 11th level, you can discard your arbitrary form for a moment in order to share your energy with your allies and empower them in your stead. As an action, you can expend 6 ki points and choose up to five creatures within 60 feet of you. You disappear into nothingness temporarily, where you exist without a physical body or location, and cannot be targeted by any attack, spell, or other effect. While you are disappeared in this way, you are incapacitated.

Until the start of your next turn, the creatures you selected gain a bonus to their AC, attack rolls, and saving throws equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of 1), and they gain your Stillness of Mind and Purity of Body features. At the start of your next turn, you reappear in the space you left or in the nearest unoccupied space if that space is occupied. When you return, you have the memories of each creature you empowered for the brief duration you were absent.

In addition, you can choose to give more of yourself to others when you disappear. You can optionally roll 1 to 10 d6s. You take psychic damage equal to the total rolled, and each creature you empowered regains hit points equal to the total rolled. This damage ignores resistance and immunity.

All for One

When you reach 17th level, you learn to override the body of an enemy if persuasion or force failed to correct their misbehaviors. When you stun a creature with your Stunning Strike, you can expend 7 ki points. The creature must succeed on a Charisma saving throw or be possessed by you; you then disappear, and the creature is incapacitated and loses control of its body. You now control the body but don’t deprive the creature of awareness. You can't be targeted by any attack, spell, or other effect, and you retain your alignment, personality, class features, and Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores. You otherwise use the possessed target's statistics, but don’t gain access to the target's knowledge, class features, or proficiencies. The possession lasts until the body drops to 0 hit points or you end it as a bonus action. You cannot use this feature again while you are possessing a creature. When the possession ends, you reappear in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of the body. The creature is immune to this feature for 24 hours after succeeding on the saving throw or after the possession ends.
