College of Gluttony

While most bards are quite accustomed to stealing secrets, even they look down upon the College of Gluttony. These bards not only steal the magic of others, but their very life force as well. They take everything, but these bards can never have enough.

Gluttonous Spells

At 3rd level, When your Spellcasting feature lets you learn a bard cantrip or a bard spell of 1st level or higher, you can choose the new spell from the warlock spell list or the bard spell list. You must otherwise obey all the restrictions for selecting the spell, and it becomes a bard spell for you. In addition, when you learn a new spell when you cast a spell that deals damage, you can change the damage type to necrotic.

Consumption

Also at 3rd level, you can leech off the life force of others with you spells. When you cast a spell of 3rd level or lower that deals necrotic damage, you can regain hit points equal to half the necrotic damage you did to one of the targets of the spell. This feature can restore a creature to no more than half of its hit point maximum. You can’t use this feature on an Undead or a Construct. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest.

Devour Magic

Beginning at 6th level, you learn how to snuff out the magic of others and use it to fuel your spells. You learn the counterspell spell. When you use counterspell or dispel magic you can regain a spellslot no more than to levels lower than the level of the counterspell or dispel magic.

Siphon Lifeforce

At 14th level, whenever a creature within 30ft of you is healed by magic, you can expend a use of bardic inspiration and reduce the healing by double the total rolled. You regain hit points equal to the amount it is reduced by.
