Spend Ki points to leave your body and float around as  a soul, vanquishing evil and slay your foes.

 

Soul Walking

Starting when you choose this monastic tradition at 3rd level, as a bonus action you can spend 2 Ki points become your soul. If you start your turn with your soul released you must spend a Ki points or you revert to your body and gain a level of exhaustion. If you are your soul you gain the following abilities:

  • You have immunity to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from non magical sources.
  • Your attacks are count as magical,
  • You can only attack using Unarmed Strikes,
  • You must use Wisdom instead of Dexterity or Strength for the attack and damage rolls of your Unarmed Strike,
  • If you reduce an enemy to 0 hit points you gain 2 Ki points,
  • You can not hold, move touch or otherwise interact with any objects except creatures you target with an Unarmed StrikeYou do not need to eat, drink or breath,
  • Your armor class is 10 + your wisdom modifier + your dexterity modifier.


If you are reduced to 0 Hit Points this effect ends and you return to your body on with 1 HP and are knocked prone. You can not become your soul if you are unconscious, charmed or frightened. You can end this effect early by spending a bonus action to do so, or by not spending the required Ki at the begging of your turn.

Clean Soul

Starting at 6th level, when you release your soul you are restored to full Hit Points ,cured of any disease and gain temporary Hit Points equal to 5 + half your Monk level + your wisdom modifier (minimum of 1).

Empowered Skill

Starting at 11th level, if you are your soul, you gain the following benefits:

  • When you make an Unarmed strike attack, you gain a +2 bonus to the to hit roll,
  • You score a critical hit on a 18, 19 or 20,

 

Empowered Strikes

Starting at 6th level, when you hit a creature with an Unarmed strike attack, you can expend up to 5 Ki point to deal additional bludgeoning damage to the target, in addition to the damage. The extra damage is 1d8 for each Ki point spent.

Soul destruction

At 17th level, you gain the ability to petrify the soul in someone’s body. When you hit a creature with an Unarmed Strike you can spend 6 Ki points, to force the target to make a Wisdom saving throw against your Ki save DC, if the target fails it becomes petrified.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (a minimum of once). You regain any expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.
