Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

The armored bears, devoted to war, are inteligent creatures whom use their magical powers and enormous strength to smash their enemies and laugh on their face. The armored bears are basically the best of both worlds: strong bodies and awaken minds.

Awaken Bear Form

At 3rd level, when you choose this path, you turn into a bear every time you rage. You can't control when this happens yet, as you are getting used to it and discovering your powers. While in bear form you gain the following benefits:

  • You are one size larger
  • You gain dark vision on a 60 ft. radius
  • You can be mounted while with your four paws on the ground
  • Your base walking speed increases by 40 ft. while with your four paws on the ground. You can't hold anything when do so
  • You gain a climbing and swimming speed equal to your base walking speed

Spellcasting

When you reach the 3rd level in this class you amplify your powers by being able to cast spells. Now, as a barbarian, even if you are raging, you can cast and concentrate on spells and your spellcasting ability is Charisma.

Spell save DC: 8 + your proficiency bonus + Charisma modifier

Spell attack modifier: your proficiency bonus + Charisma modifier

Cantrips: You can choose two cantrips from the Cleric spell list. When you reach the 10th level in this class you gain another cantrip from the same list. Whenever you reach a level in this class you can choose to replace one of your cantrips with another from the Cleric spell list.

Spell slots: The Armored Bear Spellcasting table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your spells of 1st level and higher. To cast one of these spells, you must expend a slot of the spell's level or higher. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a long rest.

Spells known: You learn spells from the Paladin and Cleric spell lists. The spells known column shows how much spells you know. Whenever you reach a level in this class you can choose to replace one of your spells known with another from the same spell lists.

Spellcasting focus: You can use a holly symbol as a spellcasting focus.

Control the Rage

At 6th level you can turn into your bear form at will, which means that you can do it without raging and you can rage without turning into a bear. Additionally, you are now profiicient with heavy armor and you can rage while using heavy armor.

Beast

At 6th level, you learned to perfectly use your claws, theeth and superior size in combat. When in your bear form, your unarmed attacks deal 1d8 + your Strength modifier piercing (if you bite), slashing (if you use your claws) or concussive (if you throw a punch, a kick, etc).

In addition, you learned to be way faster when with the four paws on the ground. When you do so, your Armor Class increases by two.

Amplified Bear Form

At 10th level you become a true bear warrior, being now able to attack with two-handed melee weapons using only one hand. You can't dual wield while holding a two-handed melee weapon, but you can use a shield or a spellcasting focus in the other hand.

Force of the Personality

At 14th level, while raging, you can add your Charisma modifier to your attack and damage rolls and, if you don't take the attack action, you can use your bonus action to make an attack roll and your extra attack feature along with it.
