Bard
Base Class: Bard

As expected from a class called Duelist, a Duelist is a warrior who excels in one-on-one duels, with swift strikes, stances, and magic to aid them in said duels. They are masters of combat, and excellent for eliminating key targets, without having to deal with all of the minions that might be stopping them. A Duelist only needs two things; A weapon, and an opponent.

Bonus Proficiencies

When you join the College of Duelists at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with firearms and the scimitar, and you can use any weapon you're proficient in as a spellcasting focus.

Fighting Style

At 3rd level, you adopt a style of fighting as your specialty. Choose one of the following options. You can’t take a Fighting Style option more than once, even if something in the game lets you choose again.

Archery

You gain a +2 bonus to attack rolls you make with ranged weapons.

Dueling

When you are wielding a melee weapon in one hand and no other weapons, you gain a +2 bonus to damage rolls with that weapon.

Two-Weapon Fighting

When you engage in two-weapon fighting, you can add your ability modifier to the damage of the second attack.

En Garde

At 3rd level, you learn to perform impressive displays of combat prowess and speed.

When you take the Attack action on your turn, you may expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration to make and attack as a bonus action with a one-handed weapon you are holding, ignoring the Loading property if it is a hand crossbow or firearm. If the weapon attack that you make as part of this bonus action hits a creature, you can choose one of the following effects.

Daze. Roll the Bardic Inspiration die expended to make this attack and deal extra damage equal to the number you roll on the die. The creature subtracts the number rolled from the next attack it makes before your next turn.

Run Through. Roll the Bardic Inspiration die expended to make this attack and deal extra damage equal to the number you roll on the die. You can also push the target up to 5 ft. plus the number rolled. You can then use your reaction to move up to your walking speed to an unoccupied space within 5 ft. of the target.

Topple. Roll the Bardic Inspiration die expended to make this attack and deal extra damage equal to the number you roll on the die. The target must make a Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. The DC for this saving throw is 8 + your proficiency modifier + the number rolled.

Extra Attack

Starting at 6th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.

Coup de Grace

Starting at 14th level, when you take the Attack action, and one of your weapon attacks reduces an enemy to 0 hit points; you can attack three times, instead of twice this turn as part of the Attack action.
