Base Class: Artificer
As a Pack Master, each creation you make is equal, homunculus and defender alike. You know your ways to get more to aid you, and a new creation can be made easily if you put the time and effort into it.
Pack Members
You can create up to 3 different Steel Familiars, their forms are decided by their creator. Some prefer drakes and wolves, others, little bears or eagles. Each one requires one piece of amber, for the heart, 5 pounds of steel, and 100 gold pieces. They have to be able to fit within a 2ft cube. These familiars have 20 hp, and 16 AC. As an action, you can command them to Attack, Dash, or Dodge.
Pack Tactics
When you and any of your creations are within 15 ft of each other, your creations have +1 to hit rolls against an enemy.
Steel Guardian
You can use 1 amber, 200 gp, and 10 pounds of steel to make a Steel Guardian. A Steel Guardian has 18 AC And 24 HP. In combat, you can command the Guardian to protect you or another one of your creations as an action. You and any creation you make gain a +4 to AC when you or they are within 10 ft of the Guardian. This effect lasts until they leave this range. You can only have one Guardian active at a time.
Pack Advantage
You have advantage on Initiative Rolls when you start combat within 5 ft of 2 or more of your creations.
Steel Ballista
Using 500 gp, 25 lbs of steel, and 5 amber crystals, you create a Steel Ballista. The Steel Ballista has 50 hp and 17 AC. As an action, you can use a spell slot to have the Ballista use a Magic Missile Spell. The level of this spell is equal to the level of the spell slot that was used. You can only have 1 Ballista active at a time.
