Monk
Base Class: Monk

Practice of the Way of the Forceful River is focused on releasing the ki out of the body in a torrential flow of raw will. This allows those who follow the way to shove creatures around the battlefield, fighting enemies on a field of their choosing.

Coursing Current

When you choose this tradition at level 3 you learn to channel the strength of your strikes to change an enemy's position rather than injure them. When you hit a creature in melee with an unarmed strike or a monk weapon, you can choose to forego the damage you would deal to cause that creature to be swept away in an invisible current of your will, moving it up to 10 feet in any direction, even up.

The movement does not normally contain destructive force, merely pressing the target against any barriers, but you can invest your ki to make it disorienting, rendering a creature unable to properly defend themselves. On choosing to moving a creature, you may also choose to spend 1 ki point to force your target to make a wisdom save against your ki save DC. On a failure the movement provokes attacks of opportunity from you and your allies.

Burst the Dam

The river of your will grows deeper and wilder. Starting at level 6, when you use Coursing Current you may choose to spend an additional 1 ki point to press your will against the target even more strongly. This can be spent in addition to or instead of the ki spent for Coursing Current. The distance the creature is moved is increased to 20 feet, and if the creature encounters a barrier, roll damage with your martial arts die to the creature and the barrier. If the barrier is an object and is destroyed, the creature continues its movement. If it is not destroyed, the creature falls prone in front of it. If the barrier is another creature, that creature can make a dexterity save against your ki save DC. On a success, your original target passes harmlessly through its space and continues being moved. On failure, the creatures collide, both taking the rolled damage and falling prone next to each other.

Redirect the Flow

You learn that all attacks are composed partly of physical force and partly will, and thus can be caught up in the flow of your own ki. Starting at level 11, when you are hit with a melee attack, as a reaction you can spend up to 3 ki points and make a melee attack against a creature within reach. If you hit, roll a number of your martial arts dice equal to the ki you spent. Reduce the damage from the attack that hit you by the total, and deal that amount to your target. In addition, move that creature up to 10 feet per ki spent in any direction. This movement does not cause damage.

Overwhelming Font

Your soul and will pour forth from you like an ocean and sweep all enemies away. Starting at 17th level, as an action you may spend 5 ki points to unleash a wave of your ki in all directions. All creatures of your choice within 30 feet of you must make a strength save against your ki save DC. On a failure, they are thrown 60 feet away from you, taking force damage equal to your level, and taking damage on encountering barriers as in Burst the Dam. On a success, they are moved half as far and take half as much force damage, but are still subject to the damage on hitting barriers.

Alternatively, you can focus all of your strength of will on a single target. As an action, you may spend any amount of ki that you choose and make an advantaged attack to lay a single finger on a creature adjacent to you. On a hit, you release all of that ki into them at once, and they must make a strength save against your ki save DC. On a failure, they take force damage equal to one of your martial arts die per two ki spent. In addition, they are thrown 20 feet away from you per ki spent in a direction of your choosing, dealing the same amount of damage to themselves and any obstacles every time they encounter one. On a success, they take half the force damage, and are moved 20 feet.
