Base Class: Barbarian
There are those barbarians, monstrous and carnal in nature, that relish in the blood shed in battle. Their secret is a form of blood magic that empowers their fury with Bloodrage.
Bloodrage
At 3rd level, the dark magics you weave with your blood have corrupted your rage, allowing you to make a sacrifice to empower yourself. Whenever you rage, you may choose to take one Sacrifice that lasts until the end of your rage.
- Sacrifice of the Black Sun
- You become blinded
- You gain blindsight (30 ft.) and once on each of your turns you deal an additional 1d8 fire damage to foes you have already dealt damage.
- You become blinded
- Sacrifice of the Flayed Mind
- Whenever you speak, you can only babble incoherently and you cannot understand language
- As a bonus action, you may release a blood curdling battle cry that forces targets within 10 ft. to make a Wisdom saving throw. On failure, the targets fall to their knees, taking 1d6 psychic damage and become deafened until the end of your next turn. On success, the cry has no effect.
- Whenever you speak, you can only babble incoherently and you cannot understand language
- Sacrifice of the Flesheater
- Every round, you have a 10% chance to mistake a friend for a foe
- You gain a bite attack that deals 1d8 + your Strength modifier piercing damage that can be used in place of a single weapon attack when you take the Attack action. When you deal damage with this attack, you may regain hit points equal to the damage dealt.

- Sacrifice of the Bleeding Titan
- You take an additional 1d4 damage from piercing or slashing attacks
- Your size doubles in all dimensions, and your weight is multiplied by eight. This growth increases your size by one category-- from Medium to Large, for example. If there isn't enough room for you to double your size, you attain the maximum possible size in the space available. Your weapons also grow to match your new size. While these weapons are enlarged, the your attacks with them deal 1d4 extra damage. Additionally, you gain hit points and increase your hit point maximum by an amount equal to double your barbarian level + your Constitution modifier.
- You take an additional 1d4 damage from piercing or slashing attacks
Bathed in Blood
At 6th level, you revel in the throes of battle and bathe yourself in blood as you fight. While raging, as a bonus action, you may choose to cover yourself in the blood of your enemies or in your own blood to achieve different effects.
Blood of your Enemies: Whenever a creature deals damage to you, its next attack against you has disadvantage.
Blood of your Veins: Whenever you are the target of a melee attack, the attacker takes acid damage equal to your Barbarian level.
Whenever you use this ability, you cannot use it again until the next time you rage.
Gruesome Visage
At 10th level, the effects of your blood magic seem to taint your appearance outside of your Bloodrage. You become proficient with Intimidation if you are not already and gain advantage on Intimidation checks.
Additionally, some part of your body has become permanently stained with blood through the continued use of your blood magic. Whenever you enter your Bloodrage, the area that is stained seems to openly bleed though it deals no damage to you. As a bonus action, you may attempt to sicken a creature with your Gruesome Visage, forcing it to make a Constitution saving throw. On failure, the creature gains the Poisoned condition until the end of your next turn. On success, the creature resists the effect.
Maximum Carnage
At 14th level, your carnal revelry for bloodshed has reached its apex. Once per long rest, when you enter a rage you may choose an additional Sacrifice to gain it's empowerment.
