Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

There are barbarians whose fury and passion burns so hot it’s as if their souls were made of living fire. Such barbarians are said to have come in contact with powerful flames and undergo a change from it. Whether it be crossing through the fire plane, encountering a dragon, or even having their soul touch by a fire deity. They use this fire to protect themselves and their allies while burning all those who would stand against them. They are the ones who follow the Path of the Fire Heart

Heating up

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you learn the control flames and produce flame cantrips. Constitution is your spellcasting ability for these spells.

Burning Rage

Also at 3rd level, you can engulf yourself in flames when you go into a rage. If you do so, flames are produced out of your body, shedding bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet. When you rage roll a D20 and on a 1 all non-magical items on you are destroyed. While raging you gain the following benefits.

    • All attacks deal an additional 1d8 fire damage. This damage increases to 2d8 upon reaching level 10 and finally 3d8 at 14th level.
    • Whenever your turn ends while you grapple or are grappled by a creature, the creature takes 1d8 fire damage. This damage increases to 2d8 upon reaching level 10 and 3d8 at 14th level.
    • You have resistance to fire and cold damage

Torching

At 6th level, when you deal fire damage to a creature you can roll a contested Con save vs spell DC. If it fails the save, the creature is now on fire, and takes fire damage equal to Barbarian's level at the start of its turn for 1 minute. It can use an action to extinguish the flame with a Dex saving throw (DC 8+Con+Prof). You can use this feature equal to your Con modifier and refills after a short rest

Warming Embrace

At 10th level, your body begins to radiate heat at all times. Creatures within a 5-foot-radius centered on you become resistant to cold damage as they are bathed in the warmth of your flaming body.

Pyrophobia

Also at 10th level when you enter a rage creatures with an intelligence score of 8 or lower that can see you must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8+prof+Cha) Or become frightened for 1 minute. At the start of each of the frightened creature's turns, it can repeat the saving throw to end the effect. A creature that succeeds on this saving throw is immune to this feature for 24 hours.

Raging Inferno

At 14th level, the flames of your rage become so intense that few can withstand it. While you are raging all foes within 15 feet have a disadvantage on Constitution saving throws and your fire damage ignores resistance to fire damage and treats immunity to fire damage as resistance to fire damage. Any creature that melee attacks you are dealt 1d8 fire damage.
