Base Class: Barbarian
You are a Dwarf, and you're digging a hole.
Diggy diggy hole, diggy diggy hole.
(Let's be honest, this is a joke, but at least it's a fun one that actually is a viable build!)
I Am A Dwarf
When choosing this subclass at 3rd level, your character must either be a Dwarf or be considered a very small specimen of a chosen race Medium-sized or larger.
If not actually a Dwarf when this subclass is chosen, you gain advantage on CHA (Performance) rolls to try to prove to other Dwarves that you are, in fact, a Dwarf.
As a diggy diggy Dwarf, you gain proficiency with the War Pick, Battleaxe, and Warhammer.
You also gain the following Dwarf racial features if you don't already have them: Dwarven Resilience, Stonecunning, and Darkvision 60 feet, as well as the Dwarven Toughness of the Hill Dwarf subrace as well as the Dwarven Armor Training of the Mountain Dwarf subrace, if you don't already have either of those.
And I'm Digging a Hole
Starting at 3rd level, you gain +1 AC and +1 to attack rolls when in combat underground.
As long as you are actively singing aloud while in combat, you gain advantage on STR and CON saving throws. (And you know what song you should be singing!)
When you are actively digging a hole, you have advantage on all saving throws against any attempts that may threaten to stop you.
Diggy Diggy Hole, Diggy Diggy Hole
Starting at 6th level, you gain +2 to damage rolls if you are wielding at least one War Pick.
War Picks are now considered Versatile weapons, with their damage increasing to 1d10 if wielded two-handed.
You also gain the benefits of the Dwarven Fortitude Feat if you don't already have it:
• Increase your Constitution score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
• Whenever you take the Dodge action in combat, you can spend one Hit Die to heal yourself. Roll the die, add your Constitution modifier, and regain a number of hit points equal to the total (minimum of 1).
We Do Not Fear What Lies Beneath, We Can Never Dig Too Deep
Starting at 10th level, you can make three attacks when you take the Attack action in combat, you no longer can be knocked prone, your unarmed damage roll is now 1d6+STR modifier, and you have advantage on Grapple checks in combat.
In addition, as long as an ally is within 5 feet of you in combat, you have advantage on attack rolls.
In addition, if you are fighting Goblins, Orcs, or Dragons, you have advantage on attack rolls.
To Dig and Dig Makes Us Free, Come on Brothers Sing With Me!
Starting at 14th level, should you die in combat, as long as at least one of your allies survives the battle, the survivors must join together and sing Diggy Diggy Hole around your corpse. Each singer must roll a DC 10 CHA (Performance) check; if they are Dwarves, they get advantage on the roll.
Should all of the singers pass their Performance checks, you are revived as if Revivify was just cast on your body.
