Base Class: Monk

After the Monk monasteries dispersed to separate corners of the world, they all sought their own methods to reach the end of the heavenly path. Some focused their efforts on being attuned with their astral self or referring to Draconic teachings while others put their faith in higher powers. This very faith is what fuels the Way of the Righteous. To allow their Ki to be taken over by the divine. To allow the divine to guide their strikes as divine warriors and protect those who cannot protect themselves. With there being many powerful entities across Aurora, not all of them are necessarily good-aligned. But one thing is true for each Monk of this path, their faith is unwavering and when fully unlocked can dish out the wrath of the divine as their avatars.

Ward of Faith

3rd-level Way of the God Fist Feature
You’ve trained your body to become a vessel of the divine, no external power will stop you from achieving your destiny. Beginning at level 3, choose a damage type based of the entity your character serves. Choose between either radiant or necrotic damage. You will gain resistance to the chosen damage type. The type of damage selected will apply to all future Way of the Righteous features.

Necrotic Resistance

You are resistant to necrotic damage

Radiant Resistance

You are resistant to radiant damage

Zealous Strike

3rd-level Way of the God Fist Feature
You infuse your punches with this gifted power to decimate your foes. When you hit a creature with an Unarmed Strike, you can expend one Ki point to deal your previously chosen damage type(from Ward of Faith) to the target in addition to the Unarmed strike's damage. The extra damage is equal to 1 roll of your martial arts die, plus another martial art die for each Ki point expended, to a maximum of 3 Ki points.
You do not add your dex or str modifier to these rolls

Aura of Enlightenment

6th-level Way of the God Fist Feature

you enlighten the most tainted soul. As a reaction, once activated one friendly creature within 5 feet of you is removed of 1 disease or neutralize one poison affecting it of your choosing. You can spend 2 ki points for each friendly creature within 5ft of you to also be removed of 1 disease or poison. The friendly creature that you use this feature on also gains 2d6 temporary hit points.

At 10th level, the range is increased by 10ft

 

Rejuvenation

11th-level Way of the God Fist Feature
Your higher power’s wrath empowers even those around you. As a bonus action, you can spend 3 Ki points to disperse divine power amongst your allies in a 10ft radius. Upon doing so, creatures of your choice(up to your wisdom modifier) gain 2d6 temporary hit points. Upon using this ability, when a creature of your choice starts their turn in the aura, they can make their first attack roll with advantage.

Avatar of The Righteous

17th-level Way of the God Fist Feature
Your journey has been met with its share of trials and tribulations. However, throughout it your faith remains strong enough to achieve full enlightenment. As a bonus action, you may spend 3 Ki points to transcend into the form of a Zealous warrior.
• You sprout wings and gain 30ft of flying speed. (If you can already fly your wings are strengthened adding 30ft of flying speed. )
• Your walking speed increases by 10 feet of movement.
• Your AC is increased by 2.
• Your Dexterity score is increased by 2.
• You gain 30 temporary hit points. This effect lasts for one minute.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
