Base Class: Bard
(This subclass was inspired by the Dancer class from Final Fantasy XIV.)
The legacy of the War Dance, or Kriegstanz, traces back to the remote island nation of Thavnair. The dancers there not only inspired the populace with their dance, but also supported their warriors in battle by using a unique weapon, the chakram.
War Dance
When you join the College of the War Dancer at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with the chakram. The chakram is a martial weapon with the Light, Thrown, and Finesse properties, does 1d6 slashing damage, has a short range of 30 feet and a long range of 60 feet. You may use the chakram as a spellcasting focus for your bard spells.
In addition, you also gain proficiency in the Performance and Acrobatics skills.
Standard Step
At 3rd level, as a bonus action, you may designate an ally you can see as your dance partner. This lasts until the end of the encounter or until you designate another ally as your dance partner.
When you or your dance partner hits with an attack roll or deals damage with a spell, you may expend one of your Bardic Inspiration dice to increase the damage dealt by that attack. The damage equals the number you roll on the Bardic Inspiration die.
En Avant
At 3rd level, you learn how to quickly dash out of harm's way.
As a move action, you may move 10 feet in a straight line in any direction. This movement does not provoke opportunity attacks. You may use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain any expended uses on a short or long rest.
Extra Attack
Starting at 6th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.
Technical Step
Starting at 14th level, when you use your Standard Step, you may roll any number of Bardic Inspiration dice instead of just one, and add the combined result of all the dice to the damage roll.
In addition, all allies that you can see may add that amount of damage to one damage roll of their choice they make before the beginning of your next turn.
