While some monks find the power of fire alluring. You are drawn to the ferocity of snow and ice using it to engulf you for protection, mislead your foes, and bolster your allies. You mimic heavy snowfall doing less damage than some monks, but you slowly wear down you enemies. This was made in the tundra as a means of protection.

 

Storms Retaliation

When you gain this tradition at 3rd level, When you use Patient Defense and a creature makes a melee attack against you. You may extend one ki point to as your reaction make a unarmed attack against them.

 

Brutality of the Cold

At 6th level, When you use Fury of Blows you may extend one additional ki point to cast Armor of Agathys on yourself as a third level spell. While the spell lasts you may deal cold damage with your unarmed strikes.

 

Long Term Exposure

 Beginning at 11th level, When you make an unarmed strike using your martial arts ability, you may expend 2 or 5 ki points, on a hit the target must roll a Constitution saving throw. On a fail their speed is halved, If you choose to expend 5 they also have disadvantage on attack rolls for the next minute. 

Aura of the Yuki-onna

Beginning at 17th level, Twice a day you may enter a form of ice. You gain the following effects

• You gain immunity to cold damage
• The ground in a 10-foot radius around you is icy and is difficult terrain for creatures other than you. The radius moves with you.
• You may add your Wisdom mod in addition to Dexterity to the damage of your Unarmed Strikes
• When a creature hits you with a melee attack you may as a reaction make a unarmed strike against it. This unarmed strike deals cold damage.
