Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

Your patron is the Archfey Brighid the Bright of the Spring Court, a jovial spirit who tends the sparks that flare to creative life in all endeavors. Though mercurial in mood and action, she is singular in her motivations: to bring new life and love to the world around her. She draws to herself artists, poets, musicians, plushies, animals and more, offering greater power to those who would use it to bring a wild joy to their world. Patrons of Brighid channel her attention to the beautiful and whimsical, manifesting their powers through combined creative effort (Most often) for the betterment of those around them.

Bright One's Blessing

Like your patron, you have an eye for the beautiful, whimsical, and just plain strange. Starting at 1st level, you may use your reaction to create a Perfect Memory of any moment you experience. You are able to recall the memory in flawless detail.

You can have a number of Perfect Memories equal to your Charisma bonus plus one half your warlock level, rounded up. If you attempt to create one while at your maximum, you must either release it or replace one of the memories you have taken.

You may use Perfect Memories in the following ways:

  • While you have a Perfect Memory you have advantage on Wisdom and Charisma Saving throws, as your perception is sharpened.
  • As an action, you may expend one of your Perfect Memories, consuming the power stored within it to gain proficiency or expertise in a skill, tool, or weapon of your choice. This effect lasts until you use this option again to gain a different proficiency. After using a Perfect Memory in this way, you still remember the experience, but you cannot draw power from it unless you are able to experience it again.
  • As an action, you can expend one of your Perfect Memories as a gift to the Bright One. When you do so, you may ask her one question. The Bright One appears to you and answers your question. While she is not obligated to be truthful and is often playfully cryptic, she is always willing to help. Brighid the Bright is powerful, but not all-knowing; she will answer as fully as the DM determines she can. When you expend a Perfect Memory in this way, you no longer remember it, save for the soft edges of the experience, for your patron has taken the memory into her keeping.

Fires of Life

Starting at 6th level, the soothing presence of your patron surrounds you. At the end of a short or long rest, you and all of your allies gain temporary hit points equal to your Warlock level plus your Charisma level.

Blushmonster

Starting at 10th level, you gain expertise on all Charisma checks related to social interaction. Additionally, as an action, you may  cause a creature that can see you to make a Charisma saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, the target becomes friendly toward you for one hour. When the effect ends, the target is not aware it has been charmed, but will not have forgotten why it was hostile at the beginning of the effect.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.

We Soar Together

Starting at 14th level, you can call on Brighid the Bright's court of plushie servants to aid you and your allies. As an action, you may summon a number of ethereal plushies equal to your charisma modifier within 30 feet of you for ten minutes.

The plushies are small creatures and cannot be damaged, but disappear if you fall unconscious or are killed. While you and your allies are within 5 feet of a plushie, you gain the following benefits:

  • You are immune to fear, charm, and sleep effects.
  • You gain a +1 bonus to your AC
  • Once per turn you or your allies may add 1d10 to an attack, saving throw, or ability check that you make. Once a plushie has granted this bonus to you or an ally, it cannot grant it again for the duration of this ability.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
