Monk
Base Class: Monk

Feeling lucky? Whether you follow the tenets of Tymora or another deity, have been fate-touched, or have always just had a knack for lucky breaks, the Way of Luck is a new 5e subclass that allows the hand of fate to weave its way into a monk's path, allowing a monk to see just how far their luck can take them.

We're In Luck

You have a knack for lucky breaks, and it’s beginning to rub off on others. At level 3, You can spend one ki point to cast guidance or bless as an action.

As Luck Would Have It

Feeling lucky? The biggest rewards always require a little risk. At level 6, at the end of each long rest, you gain a number of luck points equal to 1+ your wisdom modifier (minimum of 1). You can spend one luck point to reroll any damage dice, or two luck points to reroll any attack roll, ability check, or saving throw. When you begin a long rest, you lose any unspent points.

With Any Luck

Fortune favors the bold. Starting at level 11, when you make an ability check, an attack roll, or a saving throw and have disadvantage, you can spend two ki points to cancel the disadvantage for that roll.

Best of Luck

At level 17, you have developed a lucky streak of knowing just where to hit to make the most impact. As a result, you treat an attack roll of 19 or 20 as a critical hit.

Additionally, you can restore one ki point when you roll a 19 or 20.
